BARTON WATCH BANDS, 22mm Forest Green - Alligator Grain - Quick Release Leather Watch Bands

I have ordered Barton watch bands many times before and are generally a good brand with affordable quality watch bands. Their watch bands are usually a great price to quality ratio and this one is no different. I have always wanted to try out a green watch band in alligator grain for my casual watches that I wear and this one turned out to be a winner. The fit and finish is very good as expected from Barton and I can see this being durable and long lasting like other watch bands that I have ordered from in years before.

Beautiful band just wasn’t comfortable enough for me

Barton bands have always been one of my favorites. Instead of getting different watches for different things- you can use the quick-release to swap bands and turn a dress watch into a nice casual one in seconds... or swap that watch that's maybe too casual and up-scale it with the alligator look into a dressy watch. Once you swap to quick-release, you can have multiple bands available to change up the look and attitude.This band is relatively stiff at first, so before first installation I worked the leather by rolling it up and flexing it- and it quickly became more compliant. Now my Hamilton watch that was a little too dressy for a casual look can be nice but casual classy look with alligator.I've had multiple Barton bands and I wouldn't ever hesitate to get another one from the brand.

I’ve never had a leather watch strap before so I have nothing to compare to, but this seems about right for what it’s priced at. Looks nice paired with my green Orient Kamasu, however it can be quite stiff and sometimes is a little uncomfortable

This is a high quality top grain leather strap in an elegant deep dark green , it's not vibrant so it's a pleasant neutral color while having a bit of subtle color. It's easy to swap out with the quick release levers. The strap itself is a bit stiff, along with the clasp's rotation being a bit stiff, so a bit hard to flex and wear the first few times but I can tell it's starting to soften up. Also the strap is a little shorter than my other straps, so may be a problem if you have larger wrist. Overall it's a nice strap to change up your watch.

I was looking for something to replace the silicone band that came with my smart watch and wanted something that looked a little dressier. I really liked the color as portrayed in the ad (forest green) and the quick release pins were a huge plus. If you've ever changed your watch band, you know what I'm talking about. No more pins flying across the room! The color of the band is a little brighter than I thought it would be, but with the black wash in the dye of the leather it matches well with the black case of my watch. Installation was quick and easy. It's a little stiff at first like most leather bands, but I'm sure after a month or two it will be fine. Quality made with tight stitching and a comfortable buckle. Price was a little high in my opinion, but given the quality I'm sure it will turn out to be a good value.

I bought this as a color swap band for the Christmas season. It was easy to change pins into the band, the wrist size was accurate, the embossed print was realistic, not tacky. It smelled great when I opened the box, and I have already had compliments.

When I first tried on this band, I noticed how stiff the leather was and I was concerned that it wouldn't be comfortable. I told myself to remember to swap it out before I went to bed. However, I was able to wear the band all day with no discomfort and therefore forgot to swap it out at night and slept in it. It was fine. Leather will soften with time, so it will probably only get better in that regard.This is a beautiful shade of green and while I'm not generally a huge fan of alligator style anything, it's fine in a watch band because it's not too much. It gives it just a bit of character. My only real gripe with this band is that I wish this entry had buckle options as I'd prefer a black buckle. I know Barton generally allows this level of customization with their bands so it's a little disappointing here to see only silver offered.Great band overall, though. Barton makes good stuff.
