The material is sheer (see through) when it is dry and completely nude when wet. The suit is not for family pool parties or public beaches!! This is the third suit we have purchased from Sherrylo and love each and every one of them. It is perfect for our spring break vacation at the private plunge pool conde. This fabric offers no UV protection so use proper sunscreen when laying out. I bought this suit for tanning purposes to wear in the privacy of my backyard. I love the fit— it is so comfortable. There is no lining around the legs (raw hem), so if you like everything to be super tight, you may not like this part of it. I love the minimal tan lines and how sexy it makes me feel. My husband likes when he catches me in it. 😉 For reference, I am 5’6” and 150 lbs with 36C cup size. The large fit perfectly. Because of the lack of hem in the legs, I could have probably switched to a medium as well.
