Westinghouse WGen3600 Portable Generator, 4650 Peak Watts & 3600 Rated Watts, RV Ready 30A Outlet, Wheel & Handle Kit, Gas Powered

I am more than happy with this generator. I bought it when PG&E started doing blackouts in California for the fire issues. Amazon delivered it right to my door - amazing. I unboxed it, put on the wheels and moved it easily up 5 steps onto my deck. You DO want the wheels, it would be really hard to maneuver this around otherwise. After the blackout I decided to move it further away so easily got it down the steps again and moved it 20 ft. out so my 25' cable would reach to my door. Took 5 minutes to get the supplied bottle of oil into the engine, add gas and fire it up. It started easily with ONE pull. I used the 30 amp socket with heavy cable and powered up a large refrigerator freezer combo, my chest freezer, and started charging every battery I had around. Worked absolutely perfectly and kept a LOT of frozen food I had just bought from going bad.While not the quietest generator out there, it is also not super loud. I could hear it when I was in the house but it was not even as loud as lawn services in the neighborhood when they run their lawnmowers and leaf blowers. I did not consider it anything at all bothersome - particularly since I knew I was saving my food.It is very well built, easy to maneuver as long as you get the wheeled model, and it started every single time with one easy pull. Plenty of power for my needs, I am 100% pleased and highly recommend this unit.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this generator to run my camper and the lights and power tools in the house while I remodel it. The generator arrived early on shipment. I was impressed with that. It was easy to assemble 2 back wheels. slide the pin through the wheel, washer on the backside of wheel, slide in the pin into hole on mounting bracket and put locking pin through wheel pin to hold it to generator. The two rubber supports in the front. Four bolts and they are mounted to the underside of the frame. The assembly part is finished. Some of the handy features are. It has a very sturdy fold down handle on the front of it for moving it around. It’s not too heavy. It is extremely well-built welds look excellent. heavy duty. lotta bang for the buck on this unit, ladies and gentlemen. The noise level is reasonably low. in the camper, I have had the electric heater and the microwave going at the same time and did not trip the breaker on the generator like my last 3600 power inverter super quiet generator did. the power just keeps coming out of this generator it starts very easy. I’ve only had to take two pulls on the starting rope one time so far. You only have to use the choke if it’s below 50° well that’s the lowest it’s been for me so far. I’m very happy with the purchase of this beast of a unit!! I highly recommend this to anybody looking for a back up or weekend generator for their camper/cabin. Westinghouse. A name you can trust! It arrived in perfect condition. The assembly was easy. Adding the oil a fuel was simple. Easy to start and ran flawlessly. It didn't miss a beat. I added a load to make sure the generator was functional. I turned off the fuel and let the carburetor run dry for storage. I would highly recommend this generator. I haven't had to use it as of yet but it seems to be a quality generator for the price.

The positive aspects were that it was easy to put together and the directions were easy to follow. The diagrams were not exactly the same as my model. It came with oil and a funnel. At first it was a little difficult to start the first few times. Once I turned off the choke it started on the 2nd. pull. I was concerned about having a pull since I am 72. But it worked and I can't start my lawn mower without help. The manual is very detailed. I am using this for my camper trailer. The generator is light, easy to handle and has an actual handle to help move it which is great for me. It is compact for a WGen3600.On the negative side the shipping was the problem. While trying to put the wheels on I discovered the support housing was cracked. I returned it and the 2nd. arrived. I easily put it together. Upon inspection I discovered the cover to the filter was damaged. I called Westinghouse and spoke to a very competent woman who registered my product, and sent me an email on getting a new cover sent. She told me the 2 pictures to take & include, and the mailing address where it would be sent. She was patient and professional. So I say the customer service tech department was excellent. I told her about the 1st. generator and that the delivery person said the way the package was incorrect. With a problem on the 2nd. one, she agreed and said it was not correct. She was also going to report this problem. That's why I said check the generator before trying to putting it together.

After going through a hurricane with no power for a few days I bought this generator. I've had a few power outages since, and this unit does the job! Easy to start and hook up. I highly recommend.

After several power outages where we relied on the neighbors Westinghouse, we decided it was time to invest in our own. This generator has not disappointed! It can easily power our two refrigerators, deep freezer, and multiple accessories. We can even run power to our elderly neighbor to power her fridge. It starts reliably, which is exactly what you need when power goes out.
