The media could not be loaded.  Before I got these, the lower door would slam so loud. No matter how many times I tried to adjust the door closer, it still seemed to want to slam as it was metal on metal. Now it makes a clicking noise when the lock engages, so the bumpers made a huge improvement over the sound, and the resident that lives above that door, no longer complains. They are a bit hard to get into the hole, but I'd rather have them snug than loose so that they would not fall out. You get 100 bumpers and for the price, it is really a great deal. I have about 30 doors that I need to silence and this pack will be adequate for the task.

I am in a high school where the original door silencers have all disappeared or have been plucked out. I found and purchased these and discovered that they were much more difficult to insert than I expected, because the "rubber" is much more like "plastic" than any rubber that I've ever experienced.Now, inserting the items was not impossible, but it took some work.Originally I tried to put them in with a hammer, then a combination of needle-nose pliers and a hammer. This usually resulted in smashing the piece and ruining it--because it's not "really" rubber--without fully inserting it.So I shaved off about 20-25% of the "insert" part, and I purchased a tiny awl/punch from WalMart. This made it so that I could insert the items from the back without pounding. When I tried to insert without shaving off part of the insert-part of each piece, I would just as often poke through the tip-end of the piece with the awl before it was completely inserted, ruining the piece itself.So, yeah, these are functional items. I found a way to put them in, eventually, and they work to "mostly" silence the doors. And so the doors that I frequent in the school no longer rattle around when they are closed forcefully.

Item came in just as described, but better quality than expected.

The product was not made out of rubber, they were hard plastic. To install them I had to use a hammer and small block of wood, once installed they stuck out to far and the door would not shut. Ended up purchased some from a local commercial building supplier and threw these away.

These are very hard plastic and do little in the way of reducing door slamming force. They are difficult to install (even with a tool), and I had to work them into the holes on the frame after the tool punched through the little hole used to push them through.They do fit well and fill the gap to keep the door shut tightly (doors no longer “bounce” after they hit the latch plate).

Local hardware stores didn't have these, ordered and received in a couple days. Fit properly and doors no longer rattle when the windows are open.

Here in Western Australia where most new houses are 'double brick' construction, every door is a 'metal door' so those metal door pads are perfect and local hardware stores like Bunnings don't stock them.
