really like the style and the shaped footbed - all in all wonderful shoes

I resisted buying these for years, I thought they were too expensive and too sensible. Now, I'm totally addicted to these and feel they're the best footwear I've bought in years.They felt a little strange for a few days, but now they are very comfortable.

As ever a quality product...a word of advice for those new to these....the regular size is the wide fitting and therefore other fitting is narrow....any chance you could make boots too?!?

Not for me, too large and very uncomfortable

Perfect for days when you want to just slip on a shoe but not perhaps quite warm enough for a sandal.

These are my third pair of Bostons. Loved the other two pairs and chose these because I'd fallen in love with the colour after seeing them in a shop in Berlin (didn't have my size.) Thought the fact they had a 'soft footbed' rather than the normal footbed I'm used to wouldn't make much difference, but I was wrong. The previous shoes felt great straight off the bat and have only become more comfortable as I've worn them in. I've had this pair two days now and the softness of the liner feels squelchy and sweaty and like you have to expend more energy compensating for the 'give' in the shoe compared to the regular footbeds. Having now researched other people's experiences with the soft footbed I gather they eventually flatten down and feel better, but having worn these most of today now, I couldn't wait to slip into an older pair of regular footbeds this evening. The relief was palpable. I really wish Birkenstock made their regular footbed in this very dark brown/black colour with the copper buckle cause they look great, but disappointed in the soft footbed. Still probably more comfortable than other shoes, but not for me.

This was a great price on Birkis. I had looked at this style other places for twice as much or more.

They are exactly what I wanted. I love them they are so comfy!

This is my 3rd pair of Birkenstocks and I have purchased in a 3 year stan.My first pair were a pair of boot made in Portugal, the most comfortable boot ever, then I went to a sandal for the summer time, and now I have these Boston slip in all purpose clogs.Easy access and very comfortable. I'm normally a size 11 USA but bought a size 45 UK as suggested.I highly recommend you go to a brick an mortar store and try on a pair first, to find the size that suits you best, then of course to save money and order online.The Cork base will mold to your feet and will give excellent arch support, and the wide toe box will help your feet feel nice cozy and comfortable. I am very happy with the fit and cost and I only wish I bought and extra pair for in house use only.Don't hesitate; you will find this clog to be one of the most comfortable pair shoes you have in your collection. They are a luxury you can't afford to be without.

Love the look, heard great things about them. They felt a little loose everywhere, Ive tighten them but unless I wear socks they are too loose. I have a regular foot... they are more comforable with socks.. for me

Initially it takes quite a while to break into the Bostons. However, they are completely worth it. I recommend wearing them for short intervals on and off. Eventually they will mold to your feet and they become more comfortable as you wear them. The leather upper construction is high quality and durable. The bottom traction is a little slippery at first, but they somehow get better after more wear. Great to wear in the house or a quick run to the grocery store. Very versatile and convenient to slip into.
