Simple, sturdy, inexpensive, easy to adapt to different boats and motors.
I needed a small, compact transom saver for a square stern canoe with a 5 hp. Most transom savers are designed for bigger boats and motors. With the addition of a 24" piece of steel tubing, it's Just Right. The rubber block is relatively soft (easy on the motor) and the Y frame metal is 1/4" thick.

Very tough
I purchased marine tech transom saver, with probably the weakest, cheapest piece of rubber I have seen on a transom saver. I replaced it with the extreme max and it is far, far, tougher and more durable. I never plan on replacing this one. The marine tech barely made it one year.

Good solid block of rubber on the end.
My boat came with the transom saver that has the two swivel jaws with two rubber pads each on them. This worked fine for about a year, but the rubber pads fell completely apart. I ordered this as a replacement, as I figured the big rubber chunk would hold up much better than the four pads. So far it has.I’m not sure who made my transom saver, but I’m almost certain it wasn’t the same company as who makes this - I knew this before purchasing. I bought it hoping it would slip inside my old one once I removed the old jaws and it did. After adjusting, my motor sat exactly the way I wanted. The only problem I have found, is that this appears to be made for an outboard with a much broader lower unit, as the V in the rubber block is quite wide. For reference, I have a Yamaha 115 SHO, and this block allows the motor to roll all the way over to one side while driving down the road, because my lower unit is so much more narrow than the V. I don’t THINK this will be a huge problem, as it is still transferring the shock of bumps in the road directly to the trailer instead of the transom, it would just make me feel marginally better if it held the motor straight. I tried squeezing the metal jaws in with a large vise, but to no avail; they sprung right back to basically the same position.Overall, I think this will far outlast my old style transom saver head, just a minor complaint about the width of the V.

Perfect Solution
We took boat out last weekend and the transom holder with rubber end fell off. Searched online and found this one. Did exactly what we needed. Shipped to us quickly and solved the problem. No problem with the order. Would recommend.

Just what I needed
I ordered this to replace the one that came with my new transom saver, it was too small for my 140HP motor. Easy to use and fit right inside the transom saver I had.

Robust
I’d give this six stars if I could. Very strong and holds motor well. Replaced cheap aluminum and the rubber is thicker. Don’t trim all the way down. Just enough to apply small amount of pressure.
