This was less expensive then Costco was offering for the same product. It looks great and was exactly as depicted. I love the light and it has three vent strength settings. The fan is really loud though so if you're looking for a quiet hood/vent this isn't for you. I wish there was a softer mode because it's hard to talk in the kitchen when it's on.

I don't really have a problem with the noise I think that it is pretty standard with the fan actually being right in the hood and also when it is as powerful as this one is , the big downside for me was the vibration when the mode was on high, I believe there was a imbalance on the impellers on mine maybe someone else won't get one as bad,on the up side the lights that came in mine were not halogen they were LED wich is nice because the halogens burn out quite frequently . if ya can try to get a hood with the lights toward the front of the hood not shining down the face of the wall highlighting all the imperfections in the paint or just grease in general on the wall behind the stove. hope this helps

Works very well. Reason for not giving a 5 is that its quite loud
