The dampener is requires more force than the metal can even stand. Confirmed fit, using the genuine honda tensioner tool. Made sure it was nice and snug, without even slipping the metal felt like play-dohI got it installed, but couldn't put the belt on because this thing requires two hulks to move an inch, and isn't strong enough to handle two hulks.....Used a pry bar to get the belt on, not ideal. Belt snapped 3 months later because I couldn't install it perfectly straight thanks to this PoS not allowing me to get it on. Now I had to buy ANOTHER belt and ANOTHER F'ING TENSIONER. Thanks for using the cheapest Chineseum pot metal you could find a-holes.STAY AWAY. Buy OEM or a different source at least.
