Excellent novel, full of adventure and action, with historical information. I liked the assumed romance and the a story of the Holy Cross. Very good

If, like me, you're fascinated by the history of Malta and by the Great Siege in particular, you may want to add this book to the others you already have. Be aware, though, that it's the work of an (albeit talented) beginner in this genre and that its relative clumsiness reflects that. Content four stars, writing and editing two stars, hence three stars overall.

As a 'Knight of The Grail Code,' I have always admired the 'Knights of Malta.' I found this book to be very well written and an enjoyable reading experience.
