MARIMEKKO - Oiva Unikko Large Mug (14oz, Black Poppy)

I pondered spending the crazy bucks for a factory made product. And yet it brings me joy. No regrets for this impulse purchase

These plates are great! Not only very stylish but very functional! Beautiful design very iconic! Colors are bold! Hot cold and warm food functions! Practical but also worth the price!

Fulfilled by Amazon, so not Marimekko's fault, but I would not recommend ordering a mug from Marimekko's amazon store, as it was sent in a plain, unlined paper mailer and (obviously) arrived shattered. When I went to start a return, Amazon's system told me I would need to mail back the shattered mug by taking it to a Kohls and mailing it there. I sent a chat to customer service and they told me then I didn't have to mail it back as a one-time exception. In future, I'll order from Marimekko's online store.

Bought for a friend who love Marimekko and she loved it. Nice cup.

Top Qualität und gewohnt lässiges Design!

Die Tassen sind supergoldig und knallig rot-blumig - aber: klitzeklein! Das hätte ich ausgehend vom Foto auf der Produktseite ehrlich nicht erwartet. Und für so niedliche Kindertässchen (ich werde sie tendenziell für nen doppelten Espresso verwenden) finde ich den Preis mehr als stolz, zumal sie in Thailand hergestellt wurden(steht auf der Tassenunterseite). Für ein finnisches Traditionsunternehmen wie Marimekko finde ich das auch ziemlich fragwürdig. Nicht, dass ich Thailändern keine gute Arbeit zutraue, aber unter so fairen Arbeitsbedingungen wie in Skandinavien wird dort sicher nicht produziert.
