It would’ve been great if it worked but it stopped working after a very short period of time

We bought them to highlight our property and the lights work great love that you can adjust the way they work either flashing on solid or on&off

Getting the product in such short order was awesome...less than 24 hours..koodoos Amazon.The 2 color strings were what I ordered and work just like I envisioned.Had the white rope been what I ordered, the star rating would be higher..Now the bad part:I didn't check the ROPE solar panel before stringing - exerted a lot of rope light effort in this 10 x 20 portable carport used as a BBQ/patio area, Two complaints:1. the string was only long enough to go 20' x 5' and back 20' x 10', so apx 55', NOT THE footage I PAID FOR.2. upon inspecting the solar panel to hook up to the string, 2 things were immediately noticeable -NO PLASTIC COVER ON THE SOLAR PANELSCRATCHES ARE VISIBLE.I wasn't aware that Amazon sent out RETURNED/USED product. The product functions, but for how long? how used is it? and not bright enough....by the time i'd gone this far, I wasn't going to take it all down and return for a NEW/brighter rope.So I need to order a SOLAR BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT ROPE bright enough to read by - AT LEAST 20' LONG with at least 7' of starter wire.. I'll just hook up the solar panel FIRST (after inspecting) then just run the light from the high part of the portable carport from one end to the other one time.Please advise of product availability and how soon I can receive it.Ronald W Istre

I gave this a 4 star for two reasons. I bough a "rope" type because we have rats that chew wires and thought that covering would protect it. So far it has, BUT... The end part from first bulb through solar panel is all just fine wire, so yup within a week it was cut. The second issue is likely common to other ones, but I think the sequencing choices are a bit limited. I settled on one, but the change speed is a bit slow and none gave me the nice highlighting effect I wanted for the fence. It could easily be a 5 star for other people though.

These work well as decorative lights. They don't actually produce any usable light. We line our 10x20 tent with these while camping. They come on at dusk and go off at dawn automatically as they should. Would have liked them to actually provide light that we could use to sit at the table and play games, but no such luck.

The length and ease of use is great. One point not so happy with and may be my fault, if it was stated and I missed it was the diameter of the rope lights. I was expecting a larger diameter. The lights are bright however if they were the size I thought they were they should be brighter. However with all that said we did put them around our porch and they look good. As I said only disappointed in thickness of them everything else is good so far. Have had them up for three days.

Totally shocked at how small and flimsy this looks. I would pay 5 to 10 dollars for it. It's basically a wire light inside a clear hose the diameter is smaller than a regular straw. This will get destroyed outside by the first breeze. I'm returning both of them

Does the job and a lot of rope to use for the price. Just be careful with the plastic tips at the end... it hit my wrought iron fence and the seal broke from pulling / feeding the ropes through. This could be better built, but not a deal breaker as you can just electrical tape that part or use any kind of weather proof outdoor tape to keep the moisture out.So far it seems to run well when it gets good sunlight (has been on for 12hrs now with a good amt of sun yesterday)

We are off the grid so this solar light was perfect. Installed it around the front and side of our 37’ RV. Beautiful straight line. Just enough brightness to make it stand out. Installed easily to Command hooks. Good value when purchased in Jan 2021. Second season and the RV it stopped working in September. It appears to be an internal connection problem. So sad as I loved it. May buy another if the newly added additional charge for shipping is dropped. The price increased on the lights by $15 too.

The common understanding of something that says "RGB" is single bulbs with multiple colours. This product is not that - it is a string of single coloured bulbs, in red, green, blue, and yellow.Other than that, it's been awesome. In an admittedly bright and warm Canadian winter, there's been no breakages while I looped things in place, no dead bulbs, and stays lit from 5pm till well after midnight, and that's with an east-facing balcony. Box comes with an angle-adjustable mount, a lawn spear, the solar panel, and the lights. Which, are really thin, which is nice for not blinding your neighbours but definitely don't picture proper bright outdoor Christmas lights. Picture the thinnest drink straw you've ever been given - about that thickness.The price is a little higher than I would have wanted to pay for something so thin and not proper RGB, but I'm in no hurry to return them, either.

At first I was really happy with the lights as they lasted all night! I used them as Christmas decorations because my ass was too lazy to go outside every time to turn them on, plus I wanted to save my life with a low light bill this year. I’m sure you feel the same. So first day, I was super happy. My god, it lasted night till morning! So I decided to buy a second one to make my railings all shimmery. But now on the second day I was really disappointed with the lights. Well one in particular, the first one I bought kept turning off. I’d go outside to turn it on and it would light up all over again, but turn off after 20 mins. I wanted to return it for a new one thinking it was defective. Three days later the second one, the one I had just bought did the same. It’s only then I realized the sun wasn’t hitting it long enough for it to charge -.-. So overal I’d say a really great product just troublesome if the sun hits the back of your house more than the front. I give it 5 stars because most of the other ones require you put batteries in the solar panel part which defeats the whole purpose of it being solar powered. This one is bright, last long if the sun hits it for long, it’s waterproof easy to instal you can’t ask for more. Well maybe a camping piece for those who aren’t inserting it in the floor.
