Great for light use and travel
I had a week long work trip with 8 h flying each way. My spectra pump did not have a battery and I was worried about if I would have access in transit. I packed this pump for train, plane and car travel and my spectra stayed at the hotel room and checked luggage. I had a portable USB battery like the kind used for cell phones and it worked as a power source for this pump when needed.The pump worked great and was convenient for carrying along, quiet, small and subtle enough I could use on the plane. For the purpose that I bought it, I would definitely recommend. It was slightly less efficient than the spectra so it's not something I would use for an everyday pump. The tubes that came with it were a soft plastic and sometimes kinked so the pump was actually not pumping on one side. I used my spectra tubes on the return trip and they worked great. Likewise, the flange on the bottle was a little small for my breast size and my nipple blocked the hole at one point which caused milk to start backing up instead of draining to the bottle. I used my spectra parts on the return trip with no issue.I was super happy with the size of the pump, since the milk I had pumped over seven days filled my breast pump bag and I would have had difficulty with the extra size and weight of the spectra pump.

I've been using this for a few weeks now and I love it!!! I'm a teacher and got it while setting up my classroom to help eliminate breaks to pump and it's a great investment!! I now use it on my lunch breaks and I am able to move freely!!

Compact, effective and inexpensive
I received a Medela pump from my insurance. It works fine but very bulky. I have been searching for a pump that is quiet and compact. I also didn't want to spend a lot. This pump is all that and more. I return to work in a couple of weeks. I have been testing it out at home to see if it would be convenient to pump at work. It is effective and I am looking forward to successfully pumping at work.
