Despite some poor reviews I went ahead and purchased this item. It arrived very quickly and it was very easy to put together. Just line up the notches and push the pin into place. Hoop put together in about a minute - not too sure why people are saying that they cannot do it! Perfect hoop for getting back into shape. The foam is of good quality and there are no gaps in the hoop. I have a much heavier one but this bruises me so needed a lighter one to get back into the swing of things. Good value for money and would buy again.

The hoop is well-made, and clicks together easily. But I still haven't managed to unclip it when it's not in use, so it's always with us. And it's a bit big and quite heavy - quite a challenge to hula with. But an ideal background to a pouting young model, I suppose.

I love this hoop. Ordered it and it arrived quickly. Was a bit tricky to get all together but after figuring out how to do it, was easiest thing ever. It can be taken apart for easy storage and the outer layer is so soft on your skin. When using the hoop it has a bit of a weight to it which makes you need to work a bit harder, definitely works up the sweat. It is a bit big so you need a good amount of space but isn't so big that its difficult to use. Overall great product and really brings back memories of primary school, great beginner hoop to get you started with exercising.

It’s not solid and it’s quite big

Easy to put together but last tube is much harder to connect and the foam does not cover the tube completely. I agree it definitely gives you a good work out but I find it too heavy and have bruises all down my legs where it falls. Perhaps if I was a more experienced hula hooper, that would not happen, but sadly I don't think I will keep it to gain that experience. Going to buy the basic plastic one!!

Solid and suitable

I found it interesting to assemble but after attaching 2 segments it got easier. Haven't tried it with added weight yet as still trying to get the hang of it

Strong and well made , easy to put together, decorated for Xmas church wreath above alter, loved so much the wreath is now permanent. Have brought two more for weddings at the church..
