We use it to created a bypass when the pumps have no power. Normally closed when power is on, opens when power is down and the pumps are not working. Works as expected.

the valves were fine, but read the fine print , one was a 3 wire and required a reverse polarity on one , and the other was 2 wire, but defaulted to open. Was using these to open a defaulted closed valve when a call for heat for radiant heating. Ended up returning these, and getting the 2 wire defaulted to closed.

Poor-quality design. Motor does not have enough power to overcome normal resistance from slight differences in material due to temperature, while operating cold but above freezing.First one failed during summer, so temperature was not an issue. They sent me a replacement but as you can see, it was just as cheaply-designed as the first.Don't like the ultrafine small gauge control wire. It could be of a heavier quality for better usability to connectors and endurance in a real environment.
