For me this was an interesting project. I like doing new things. The best part is that you learn from your mistakes. I mean how do you become an expert? ... right? As i was fixing my bike I. I tried adjusting the spokes on the wheel. To my surprise I had loosened them in such a way that the tire wobbled by a lot. As I did my research watching many videos on this tube channel that is made for you. I found out how to adjust and "true" my wheel.I also wanted to have my spokes look that little bit of different from everyone else. Something very low key. Why not research some color spokes? As I said I wanted something subtle. One thing you have to do is research the length of the spokes you are going to replace. Measuring the length of a spoke from the existing wheel will help out tremendously. This length is measured in mm. Get ready to learn the metric system! That bit of journey led me to this brand of spokes. Weaving a chrome spoke with a black spoke gives a cool design on your wheel. Directly in the sunlight is when you really notice. This spoke is not a new design, so ease of use or anything like that is dependent how it has been for years. If you do research on how replace spokes, they typically give you a timeframe on how long it takes to replace. This product does not offer some technical advancement. It is to replace spokes for what ever the reason may be. Mine was just for the challenge and learning something new.The advertised amount says it is 36 pieces. 36 spoke nipples and 36 J style spokes. This is just one bag that replaces the spokes for two wheels.The metal is of good quality. Spokes seem to be painted, but not powder coated. They are straight pieces of rods. Although, you end up bending them enough to weave in between the other spokes.I would recommend this product.

If you are having trouble using Hozan's spoke threader (even the 2nd/new version) on namebrand stainless steel 2 mm spokes, this is what you want. These are very slightly narrower so the spoke threader works with no problem. Don't worry about the paint, it won't withstand the threading pressure. Not sure what you would do in a wet climate, but I don't have that problem. Maybe their next larger size spoke threader works on 2 mm stainless steel spokes, but that would be an expensive experiment.

I have had an Electric bike for 3 years now and love it. I'm a little hard on it as it is really a cruiser for flat land but I do use it on some trails while camping. I had two spoke break this summer, so I looked around to get some replacements. It seems that you can't get small quantities. You need to order the bundle that would be enough for the whole wheel (36 spokes). I ordered these SENQI 36pcs 14G J Bend Bicycle Steel Spokes with nipples for my exact length. The first set came and they were too long, but they resent me the right size in a couple of days and I sent the first ones back. I was able to replace the two broken ones in about half an hour without having to take the wheel off the bike. If you order these, make sure you know the exact length or you'll run into trouble. The length can only be +/-3mm. If they are too long you won't be able to get them tight and the end will stick throgh the nipple and puncture your tire. Too short and you won't have enough threads to tighten without stripping the threads.

Not top quality, but excellent value for the money

Very happy to get the correct length. Last time I ordered spokes from a different seller they were 50mm shorter than what I had requested.

I built a wheel with these and it was the worst I ever had. They snapped one by one every month or so. Had to rebuild after few of them broke. Stay away from this crap.
