These solar globes are absolutely amazing! They are large, sturdy, bright, & work as advertised. I own 2 sets (4 globes total) of the largest size (5.9 inch) in white. The 1st set I purchased was to put in front of my lions that guard my patio gate. I was immediately obsessed! I ordered a 2nd set to add to my patio decor & it immediately brought it to life! This is definitely a 5 start item & I highly recommend.I would also like to note that these globes are well packaged, but sometimes things happen. The 1st set I received arrived in tact. The 2nd set arrived shattered, but Amazon quickly shipped a replacement set (excellent customer service) that I received a couple days later. I returned the damaged set. The damages were not Amazon's fault, it was the shipper. All in all I am very pleased with this product & I'll be ordering another set to store as backup.

Gave these to my mom to put in ornate metal basket on table. The covered patio gets afternoon sun and these two globes absorb enough solar to power all night. My mom is up several times a night and these give her something pretty to see. She really likes them. Good gift!

I spend a lot of time reading reviews of the products before I buy, and I also look at the breakdown of the percentages of 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 star reviews (yeah, I'm weird that way). These solar lights have quite the mixed bag of reviews, so I decided to take a chance. One of the globes in the set sure enough didn't last through the first rain storm - it had condensation inside the globe. Both globes continued to work well, but that condensation ruined the effect. I wrote up the return stating it was defective, and for some reason asked that they be replaced rather than credited. The replacement set arrived promptly and I'm happy to report the replacements have now gone through a LOT of torrential rains here in the North East and both are condensation free and glowing brightly every night. So, take a chance, keep the box for the duration of the return period and hopefully you'll get a good set like I did.

These look so spectacular when lit up at night! Definitely a good buy

They were absolutely beautiful when on, however, that lasted for a couple minutes. I couldn't get mine to stay on. I made certain I charged them on a sunny day, because, I thought could be the cloudy weather we'd experienced, but still not able to get them to remain on. Amazon even sent me another set. I sent them both back due to same results with both sets.I was bummed, because they are really pretty and fairly bright when on.I wanted to add that, for some reason, I was able to send one set back free through Kohl's, but the other set, I had to return through UPS, and paid the shipping in order to do so.

These Solar Ball Lights were great, the look of them both during the day and when lit at night was very good. Then one of the two failed after about a month. I swapped the batteries with no change, the same unit no longer lights at night. Both get several hours of sun and kept out of sprinkler water. Too bad the reliability is not better.

So far when they get enough sun they stay lit up for about 6 hours at night

Don’t rely solely on the photos. Check the dimensions. The bulbs are much smaller than they appear and their true size doesn’t make sense with the price charged. I returned my order.
