I have been a fan of Mark and Fey (The Grill Dads) for years and I have been anxiously awaiting the release of their first-ever cookbook. 'The Best Grilling Cookbook Ever Written by Two Idiots' does NOT disappoint -- packed with fantastic recipes, gorgeous photos, and tons of trademark Grill Dads comedy, this book has it all. Fans of The Grill Dads will surely love this book but those of you looking for a “mere grilling cookbook” will be extremely happy with this book as well. Grills aren't just for steaks and ribs, Mark and Fey have 62 recipes that show you that you can cook anything you want on a grill. This may be the only cookbook you need in your library.

Slick production, fun-looking layout, but I wanted a cookbook with serious information about how to cook anything on any kind of grill, and that's what was promised in the extensive feature in The Epoch Times. The format is chatty, which is OK in a foreword, but a little funny stuff goes a long way and is only cute at first. In the end, it just proclaims "this book is all about me," not all about grilling. The book is not an in-depth instruction and methodical approach to cooking on any kind of grill, but a lot of recipes. OK, but then why is there foul language (and found language acronyms) liberally sprinkled throughout the ENTIRE book? They only want to be entertaining and suitable to one childish demographic? I bought three, one drop-shipped so probably not going to get my money back for that one, but the other two, well, I have returned those. Not suitable as a cookbook, as a grilling book, or as gifts. Yes, serious AF.
