Fedeli Italian Whole Peeled Tomatoes - 28oz - Pack of 6 Cans

I have tried the "D.OP." 's from supermarkets and specialty stores, and canned "Italian" plum tomatoes online and these are hands-down the best I have found. The tomatoes are whole, pump and firm and the puree is thick and deep red. They have very few seeds which I use a food mill to remove. These tomatoes are perfect for sauces and gravies- not to mention the tomatoes can be chopped concasse for minestrone soup and other dishes that call for that and the puree can be saved. The flavor is a deeply satisfying "tomato"- not bitter, just smooth. I use three cans a week here at home, so I suggest to stock up because the price and quality can't be beat. You will love them.

Dented cans

We purchased these tomatoes to make a spaghetti sauce for a large Italian family gathering. These tomatoes are excellent. The puree is rich and thick, the tomatoes taste great, cook great and are a quality product. They ship quick and are packed well. The customer service is great. The price is excellent! I would recommend these to anyone wanting to make a great Italian spaghetti sauce or any other dish that requires a quality tomato.

I was buying these tomatoes at Sams. But with a lot of Sams products they stopped stocking this product. These tomatoes are the best can tomatoes I have tried. I wish they came in a smaller can.

Very good taste and texture. However two of the cans were horribly dented.
