I like this ZOMFOM camera setup
Everything in the kit allowed for a pretty straight forward install. I ran it on a power cell first to test it out. The video and images are post install on the bike. I think the front camera still has some play I have to lock down. I am recording in TS format and I had to convert to mpg so I think there's a little loss of crispness. Even with that it's clearer than the Blueskysea DV688 I bought last year. So much so I purchased another ZOMFOM to replace the DV688. At first I thought the mounting pads were flimsy but I now see the benefit as they can be bent to a curved surface. I had to reach out because the rubber cover to the SD card came off and they were very responsive and offered to replace it. I also reached out about the firmware update for MPH which they sent me right away. I have not applied the patch yet. Happy with the camera overall. The only issues were the instructions could use updating and the cover to the SD card could be attached a little stronger. Granted I do not have the lightest touch out there. I have not ridden with it in the rain yet as it's summer but I am hopeful it performs as advertised.

No heat tolerance. Video formats suddenly unrecognizable.
Edit: This display/control head gets extremely hot in normal use (dissolved the adhesive and fell off the mount). On top of that, when riding on a warm day (approx 80 degrees ambient temps), the unit seems to randomly reboot or stop recording.I've used the thing twice because I haven't been able to ride much lately, and as I just discovered, I'm past the return window. $200+ wasted.Save your money.-------Videos were ok, but lower quality than I expected at the price point. I have $80 car dashcams that were higher quality. At some point, all new videos became unusable. I have a ton of video on the SD card from the first hour or so of riding, but then after that, no app can play the videos, on my phone or a pc. They all say corrupt or unrecognized format. On top of that, for some bizarre reason, only some videos actually save. When I hit the button to lock a video, I verify the icon on screen, but in review of the card, half the saves are not in that saved folder nor the regular cyclical recording folder. They just vanished...I need support, but the support options suck...I'm likely returning the system, just kinda irritated that it worked great in testing, I spent two hours installing it cleanly and professionally, and it quit on me randomly.

Cable length needs modification from manufacturer. Overall I would recommend this product.
Installed on a Harley Davidson Sportster. Overall the system is well made except the camera brackets ( they are kinda flimsy but can be bent easily to mold the contour of most surfaces ). The tape on the brackets are not the best. Fairly good quality of video with minimal to no shaking, and the audio is only captured thru the remote 😥 it seems. Biggest problem, The camera cables should have their connections lengthened from the end of the camera and shortened from the unit to allow for a wider rang of scooters. The SD card slot is small and hard to remove the card but not too bad unless you have big fingers. Overall, the extreme length of cabling makes it hard to tuck and hide on bikes with no fairing or rear compartments, if the connections would be moved as described earlier this system would be awesome for the price. The app 'road cam' doesn't mirror the rear camera like the unit it keeps failing too do so, after many many attempts it also fails to download the video or pictures to my galaxy note10 plus. ( updated ) In order to apply update use a older small sd card like a 4gb card, it has to be fat32 format. After the update it seemed to have fixed being able to direct share to my phone.

Very disappointed, waiting to hear back from the company
Well I was excited to get this dash cam. Packaging was nice and the unit looked and felt solid, the cables coming out of the DVR could be a bit longer since it makes hiding the cable hook ups hard. I really wish they would just plug into the DVR so you could unplug it when parked and lock it up, but no one makes one like that. I can’t speak to how well it works, because right out of the box I plugged it into a USB power source and the Orange screen came on showing the name, then went black, then back to Orange, the just keep repeating. I unplugged and plugged back in several time but got the same action. Tried push the menu button and other buttons but it just keep going Orange to black. I have sent an email to the company and am waiting to here back from them. When I do I will update this review. I have attached a short video showing the problem. I really wanted this to work because it’s one of the few that the DVR is water proof and can be powered by a USB and not having to tie into the motorcycle battery. I was going to use it as a review mirror on my motorcycle since I often use a motorcycle pull behind trailer on my bike.

Good "dash" cam(when it wants to work). Still waiting on download to switch kph to mph
Installation was straight forward if you have installed a dash cam before. If not the instructions can be a bit confusing. Cables are nice and thick. As others have stated the camera mounting brackets are not very strong, they work but need improvement as they are still loose at its tightest. The microphone is attached to the remote so if you want audio you have to use it. Camera quality is what you would expect from a dash cam in this price range.I'm still stuck with kph instead of mph as I'm waiting for the download link from the company to update. They did respond right away initially but still no download link.Overall I'm very satisfied with the video and audio quality and ease of installation. I would recommend and purchase again.Update: 4/20/2021I had a close call, a lady pulled out right in front of me yesterday on my way home from work. When I went to review the footage a large portion of the trip home was missing. Including the part where the lady pulled out in front of me. The only footage I have is when I left with and arrived home. I have a short clip from when I left and several blank clips in between that and my arrival home. I'm not happy about the failure to record my entire trip. I swapped out the sd card and formatted it. I will pay more attention to each trip and report here with my findings. I never did receive the update from kph to mph.Update: 4/29/2021This thing is begining to be a pain and customer support seems impossible to reach. It records 6 second files when they were supposed 3 minute files. Random corrupt files throughout the gallery. I ended up factory resetting the base unit and formatted the sd card again. Tested in the driveway while set to 1 minute files. It appeared to work while parked let's hope it continues to work while I'm riding. I will update in about a week.Update June 6th 2021:The cameras have been working flawlessly as of my last update.
