The Message// Remix New Testament: The Bible in Contemporary Language MP3 CD – MP3 Audio, 10 October 2008

I have listened to all 20 cd's within 1 week's drive to and from work. I am what you could call ignorant to a lot of information about the bible and christianity, and originally a friend recommended the book to me, however it is difficult to sit and read due to my children. I thought about buying the audio version, and it was the best thing i could have done. I am now planning on buying more of the audio bibles in both new and old testament.I read one reviewer say on one of these, it prevents road rage, and sure enough one snowy day I was caught in 20 mile an hour traffic on a 100 mile drive, and it did! It really made the drive seem insignificant. Anybody who is thinking about buying this, do it! If you drive any kind of distance this is a great way to learn! I also loved the speakers and the way they read the message.

I LOVE my Message book so much I ordered this for my daughter.Mi thought I was purchasing a new one except, what arrived was a "Used/Good" book that has three 3 gashes in the back cover. Some of the pages had creases and it looks as if it had come I contact with some water. All is good after I taped the gashes and straightened the pages back. The tears are still visible but at least it's not flipsy flipsy!

This translation of God's Word is almost like reading a novel. It is put in everyday English. I have really been blessed with the version and have recommended it to several friends who all feel as I do. A must for everyone.

This came on 3 CD's.Converting for use on my Ipod took a while, as I had to place sequential numbering at the front of all the file names.A few of the books are read by Christian Music artists, the rest by the mane narrator, who is excellent.

It's so easy to understand. Plus I am in my car a lot so because it is in a CD format it's very convenient to listen to it.
