Air ventilation hole in terrible location. 2 inches from pouring spout. Can only pour slowly, unbelievably slowly or liquid will spill and shoot out of air hole with 5.5 gallons of liquid weight behind it. I will not buy this again. Sturdy but terribly bad design of something that should be simple. THATS CHINA FOLKS!

Works great

Heavy materials and quality construction. Nothing flimsy here! Pour spout hose is secured with crimped hose clamps. Threads and caps are of great quality. Definitely worth the price. I highly recommend these for diesel (yellow), or gas (red). I have several of both and I love them. Additional benefit is the tall construction resulting in a small footprint when storing. These take up much less space than regular 5 gal fuel cans and you don't have to mess with the annoying safety pour feature.

No where i n the listing for this great container does it say not to be used to store or transport gasoline - which is the reason I bought it; Only the tag on the container gives that information. So I'm going to keep it and use it to store water for camping and buy another red container for gasoline storage. l was disappointed to learn this information after the container arrived

I know they don't market this as a gas can because it doesn't have any of the stupid EPA requirements for a gas can. But it is a far more environmentally friendly than those stupid things that always spill gas everywhere. It is a nice basic jug that does what it's supposed to holds liquid and pours it out. Cleanly and efficiently.
