It is great and cheap.

The price was definitely good and speed of delivery from China was very good. Not quite "universal" though. they are Very large, which necessitates careful attachment, and burning. It barely fits my coleman which requires a 21A (about twice the size of a 21A). this creates a problem to keep from adhering to the tube. Lots of smoke during the initial burn and large size makes it less efficient in lighting.Pro: great price. good backup (IMO) to have if out of regular mantles.Con: Large and difficult to properly "burn". (must keep flame on it continually of it will not properly burn.Excessive smoking (DO NOT BURN INSIDE)and smells bad until the mantle is fully burned.Larger size means harder to contain appropriate amount of fuel vapor which causes some inefficient light; especially at lower power settings.

I was a bit concerned because they are really big (that’s what she said) but they work, two thumbs up.

These mantels are huge, too big to be useful. Stick with US made mantels at Walmart where you can see what you are buying. They also burn with brown spots all over like they were splattered with some liquid. Junk.

These did work however they aren't very bright and produced a very yellow light. Even the standard coleman mantles produce a much brighter and whiter light. I have purchased other 500CP Asian made mantles in the past that were of much higher quality for a similar price.

Dirt cheep and reliable.While very large, they do burn in quite nicely for the 220/228 style lanterns.Running one on a 237 model with no over fire.Should work okay on newer style lanterns.I'll buy them again.

Great deal on these “Butterfly” brand mantles. They smoke like crazy and for a long time when you burn them in. They do shrink up quite a bit. The weave on them is a little on the large side. They seem as bright as other brands.
