Good on sale.
Saw this on sale for $10 as my Leuchtturm 1917 was filling up. This is a serviceable replacement - same thickness cream paper with dotted pages, same pagination and table of contents, same back pocket and elastic closing strap. The cover doesn't have the same pleasing texture and thin and elegant, yet durable, construction as the 1917, but it's not so much worse that I'd spend double the price for another 1917. It also doesn't come with the convenient labeling stickers.I use Noodler's Heart of Darkness in an extra-fine nib fountain pen and it writes smoothly with no feathering. There is minor show-through but not enough to render the opposite page unusable.tl;dr: Get it on sale. If it's the same price as a Leuchtturm1917 get that instead.

Perfect If you Need a Notebook W. Page Numbers and an Index
Exactly what I needed. It has an index in the front, (could use 1 or 2 more pages inmo) which works great if you plan to catalog your entries. I have the dotted pattern and it works great for designing neat notes. Also, huge plus is that the book comes pre numbered. It also has 2 tassels for book marking as well as an elastric strap if you want to keep the book closed. Very sturdy construction hard cover. I will definitely continue buying this model for my next volumes of notes.I am using this book for the Getting Things Done system and it works great!

NOT FOR EVERYDAY USE
I bought this notebook to replace my full LT1917. I specifically chose this notebook because of it's similarities to the LT.The good:✓Price, it's about half of an LT.✓Same features and paper weight as the LT.The bad:✓When it arrived I could tell the quality was not quite as good, the craftsmanship a little sloppy.✓ The lines are not exact on every page...so layouts that are two pages may have some differences.✓I have been using this since 8/1 in the same way I used my LT for 8 months and it's already showing signs of peeling on the cover.UPDATE 9.25.17It's been barely two months since I've started using this journal and it is now being held together by washi tape. I've had to tape the outside of the spine as the paper cover was coming off, the corners of the cover started to also show significant wear and I could see the cardboard. This morning I noticed that the back cover was separating from the pages and I had to tape that with washi duct tape. Again as I mentioned above, I used my LT1917 for 8 months in exactly the same way, and had NONE of these issues. I don't think this journal is going to last me near as long and I'm not sure how much repairs I can do to it before it's unusable. It was a great price and I initially thought would be a great journal, but it just cannot handle daily use and travel.

Great notebook for a bullet journal - preferred over Leuchttrum!
I've been using this book for about 6 weeks as my first bullet journal. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 was that the pages were numbered incorrectly. It jumped from 74 to 91 and pages 91-106 were repeated. I simply renumbered the 16 pages that were incorrectly numbered. Other than that, I love this notebook and will order again. I love the sturdy cover and the rounded corners as well as the dot matrix pages and the pocket at the back. The binding seems durable and the pages lay flat. I have used Pigma Micron, Staedtler Triplus Fineliner, and Sharpie Pens without bleeding through. I specifically wanted a book with numbered pages and an index and have found those incredibly useful. I was rear-ended and had to make numerous calls and take notes over the course of 2-3 weeks about getting my car repaired. It was easy to keep track of where all my notes were using the index. I love having one book to keep track of everything - calendar, to-do list, meeting notes, call notes, grocery list, etc. I ordered the official Bullet Journal notebook for my husband, which is a custom Leuchtturm 1917. I actually prefer this notebook because the cover is sturdier and it's half the price of my husband's.**UPDATED 08/14/2018**I am now on my second notebook of this brand and have noticed a decrease in quality. The binding began to fall apart before I was halfway through the notebook. I do not like the addition of the calendar index pages at the back - this wastes the last 9 pages of the notebook! I still love the index at the front, the numbered pages, rounded corners, and pocket at rear. The ribbon bookmarks were also a slight improvement over the style in the previous edition of this notebook. The price is still great and I like that the dots are easier to see than in my husband's journal, but I will consider alternatives before purchasing again. Please ditch the calendar index pages and improve the binding!
