The carpet is just as advertised! It has a much sturdier texture like that of corporate/office building carpet, but somehow a little softer? I personally preferred this since it will be used for actual indoor hopscotch. A shaggier carpet fiber would probably mat down a lot faster.The color and contrast are as expected - vivid, though a bit heathered (may be tough to tell from the picture) which gives it a "chalkboard" look. The backing has a little bit of grip to it - I imagine it would stay put on hard floors. We are using it on carpet and it works well there.I have never purchased from this seller before, and was a bit nervous, but really glad I took the chance. Would recommend for a hallway, kid's room, etc. !P.S. - Does not come with a bean bag to toss for hopscotch. We use Beanie Babies :)

I just designed a new play room for my grandson and everything I designed was beautiful. The room was converted from my daughter's room to his room. However, the room had a medium mauve, rose colored carpet that I had no intentions of removing. Then I found this gray hopscotch rug runner.I just received it today and laid it down and let me tell you, this is the making of one adorable room transformation. The colors are bright and beautiful and the rug fits just perfectly to cover most of the original mauve carpet as entering the room. (Okay, the room entrance is only 6' wide and I have furniture on the left side of the room). I love it. It rolled out nicely. I used 2 sided carpet tape on each corner, but really didn't need it. I just didn't want a tripping hazard.Seriously, don't hesitate to purchase this. I am going to have him use red and black checker pieces as the "stones" to play hopscotch on this rug. Even if he does not want to hop on it.... I think I will play on it when he goes home. Did I mention that I LOVE IT!!

Very soft, great bright color, so far very comfortable and good quality, I got it for my grandson one of his Christmas present.

I bought this for gross motor activity, to use inside my classroom. The children love it. It is a nice size that can be stored or used easily.

This rug is adorable. My girls were so excited when they saw it and immediately started playing hopscotch on it. It’s a great addition to the playroom.We just moved into a new house that has a lot of tile. We have two toddlers so we wanted to make sure we covered the playroom floor with rugs. Once we added the furniture and an area rug, we had an odd-sized section of tile to cover. I wanted a fun rug and most of the long, skinny runner rugs I came across were either blah or over-the-top kiddie. I was delighted to come across this playful gem. The base color is neutral but the “chalk” drawings add some whimsy.PROS:1.) The rug is even cuter in person so it exceeded my aesthetical expectations. It looks great in the playroom and I’ve already had a few people ask me where I got it.2.) The rug seems durable. The weave is tight, which is awesome because it doesn’t clutch and harbor food and crud like my thicker rugs. My girls play HARD. They are constantly rolling around and dragging chairs, ottomans, rocking horses, doll houses and any other large objects they can grab across the floor. This rug has been tested many times already and it has yet to snag, pill or unravel.3.) This thing is easy to clean. The grey color is nice because it will not show stains like many other colors. I have yet to test that theory, however, because I’ve had no trouble cleaning up spills. The material is not absorbent so I’m able to wipe things up without difficulty or scrubbing. This is perfect for my messy little tots.CONS:This is not a thick rug. I would love a little more cushion to pad my kiddos’ falls. It’s obviously better than a bare tile floor but it leaves a little to be desired in the cushioning department. I think, however, that a rug pad will solve this issue quite easily so it’s not a big deal.

Very good quality, so far it has held up great against a very fiesty kitten. The color squares are slightly different than the photo but still pretty accurate, our rug the number one is the reddish/pink instead of purple. It doesn't slide that much and we haven't had an issue with it sliding while people are playing on it. The fiber is pretty comfortable, not particularly soft but definitely not stiff.

It looks good and fits well in there room.

The product is the right size and is appears to be a quality easy to clean product. It is not gaudy. It is attractive and well marked with pleasant and distinct colouring. The product was well packaged and delivered in good time.

Bought this rug to play on and to keep my child warmer while doing puzzles and what not. We live it. Looks better in person than in the pictures. All the kids love it and we are learning numbers.
