No more bending
With this manual tiller I can easily dig up my flower beds. It’s lightweight, but very durable. What I like best is the ease of dirt removal from it. Simply shake it or gently tap over the ground and the dirt comes out. The handle is very long so I don’t have to bend over when gardening. It’s affordable and works well. Win win.

Great Tool!
This tool is built very well and is very easy to use. This garden tool is the best I’ve bought in a long time. It works exceptionally well and perfectly suits my needs. 10/10 would recommend!

Awesome tool
Works great. Love it. Only reason I gave it 4 is because it could use one more set of holes in the handle so you can compress it to shortest length possible for compact storage.

hand till to save fuel & electricity, great for sandy soil, plenty of length, comfort handles
Easy to put together. The 17.5" measurement refers to the width of the handle. I was concerned that it I was going to be seriously hunched over if it was an indication of length. I figured not, and as expected it is thirty something inches long. Plenty of length to comfortably hand till.I have sandy soil which is pretty easy to work with. This cuts through very easily. I have a motorized tiller, but it is a pain to get working. I dont need it for a large area, I just want to turn over some land for a small garden. Also works for working through some weeds. I imagine it is easiest on soft land, or land that has been worked over before. Not sure if I would try it on hard packed clay. But who knows. Not me, anyway. Though an upcoming project may actually encounter firmer dirt. We'll see.Very sturdy, strong. From top to bottom is is a durable metal. Handles are covered in thick rubber for grip and comfort. Very easy to put together, just slide in 4 bolts and washers, then twist the butterfly nut on to each. Be sure to tighten it up really well less it feels shaky. After shopping around I decided on this as I got this at a good price, it looked like it would do the job, and so I went for it. I am pleased so far. Just starting to get my vegetable garden going, and I needed to turn some dirt and grass over. This is a handy little thing. Also, I think it is important to have tools that dont require gas or electricity. If you can hand till something, I say go for it.My next project will be for some up coming landscaping jobs that I get hired for. More challenging stuff, and I am curious how this will hold up. I figure it is much easier to travel with a hand till than a machine. I have good muscle strength, so I imagine I can use it under nearly any condition. I'll report back if I experience anything worth sharing. So far so good. 5 stars from me!

Great tiller for small area
Excellent product. It tore up the ground as needed with only a little effort. I do recommend stretching calf and hamstring muscles first.

Works, wow
I was very skeptical. We have solid limestone clay. It’s like rock. This thing busted it right up. My husband laughed until he tried it. He loves it. Go with the original. Only bad thing is that the handle does work loose. They give you an extra one but they should save the problem.

Very easy to use
The media could not be loaded. I must admit that I didn't have high hopes for this one. I am converting my lawn to a permaculture garden, but the native soil is too hard to work with. My actual veggies are in raised beds, but I was hoping to plant wildflower seeds in between. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. It's terrible compacted clay with a ton of rocks, but it still made it through. In normal conditions, it is a breeze to till through the soil. It was easy peasy on my garden beds although it was more tricky with the compacted dirt.

Works fine for light jobs
This works well for limited, light-duty jobs in soil that’s not very rocky. We quickly busted it (prongs bent) trying to loosen up some very rocky soil, which is a bummer because it worked great in the areas that weren’t super rocky. So if you just want to refresh your garden beds, it’s awesome for that! For larger or harder jobs, you’ll need something more robust.
