First you will need an oil pressure gauge. Then you will need to locate and remove the oil pressure sending unit from the side of the engine block. Insert the oil pressure gauge where the oil pressure sending unit was. Make sure it is out of the way but still visible then start the engine. You will receive a more accurate reading if the engine is at normal operating temperature. Picture showed gauge in increments of 10. Came with gauge in increments of 100 and didn't work. I think it didn't work due to the fact the average gasoline engine fuel pressure is much less than 100 so the gauge was unable to show fuel pressure under 100. I informed the seller of the issue and the sent me another one, which was (in my opinion) decent customer service. However, this second tester came with the same gauge in increments of 100. I just gave up and called it a loss.
