GabbaGoods Wireless Magnetic Earbuds

While I have to admit that there was a bit of apprehension when I purchased these earphones, I am pleasantly surprised. I only looked at this due to its IPX7 claim as I want something that I can wear in a pool and during an intense workout. With the Bose SoundSport and Sony products on sale for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, I opted not to open the package. When I finally did – and tried the product, I had to write this review.Fit: this set is great, employing standard earbuds coupled with the hooks that keeps it in place. Both are independent, and in my case, assuring the right fit. Would not, and did not fall out.Sound Quality: the bass is a little over-exaggerated and the mid-highs lack the depth and clarity of my Bose. However, these are adequate for the gym or a day by the pool.Build Quality: this has always been my big concern of these generic products. The unit seems competent, however, the wire that connects the two ear pieces is weak and narrow. This is a major concern as there have been incidents where this wire has been caught up during a range of motion, causing one or two earbuds to be ripped off.Wireless Range: in an open office environment, I was able to walk up to 50 feet from my phone before the signal started to cut out.Battery Life: Getting about 5 hoursIPX7: Three hour gym workout followed by a shower. Wow, I am really amazed. These things are great, no issues with a 15 minute shower with my head under the water.At $22, I recommended product. While it not the same audio quality of the Bose, the Qualcom CVC technology, IPX7 feature, and price makes it a viable alternative. I just ordered a 2nd pair!

I really like these headphones. I sometimes have problems keeping up with my bluetooth headphones as they will fall off and I'll be unaware that I lost them, which can be expensive and frustrating. The magnet on these is genius. I love it. They're long enough that they fit like a necklace, so I don't have to stress loosing them like I do other brands. The sound quality is great and I love the fact that it doesn't just beep that it's on/off. It actually states that the unit is on/off. I've found this to be irritating in other brands as the beeps sound exactly the same for on and off, so I'm thinking that it's on when I just cut it off or vice versa. I was concerned about whether or not they would stay in my ear. No problems there. The plastic curve piece helps them stay in my ear even when I'm only wearing one side. This was a great buy. I highly recommend them so far. The next test is how long will they work. If they last at least a year then I'll really feel that my money was well spent, although I hope that they last longer.

These are the best Bluetooth, inline mic earbuds I own in this price range as far as battery life & sound quality. They were purchased along with a set of more expensive earbuds, yet those buds were from a more well known company, Anker & while the sound quality between the two sets of earbuds was basically an equal comparison, after about 1/2 a year of daily use, the more expensive Anker Slim Soundbuds I bought last me no more than 3 hours of mixed standby/use battery time, whereas these earbuds from Yoozon stay alive for days upon days while on standby & they flatly beat the higher cost Anker Soundbuds Slim in active use time, as again, after using both of them daily (switching back & forth between the two) over a long stretch of time, the Yoozon Earbuds can play media for SO much longer than my Anker Buds can simply stay paired with my phone not playing anything but alerts. Highly Recommended for sound quality, battery life, in-ear comfort/fit & price paid.

The sound quality of this headset is very good. “Country” and “easy listening” are what I prefer and for those genres the sound is clear, well balanced, with bass, and very enjoyable listening.Volume is also very good. I like loud music but for many songs I have the volume a click or two below maximum for comfort. Because the volume is so good, I can also listen to audio books on the treadmill at the gym. The surrounding noise, including gym sound system, makes the gym a tough environment for listening to audio books, but with this headset I can hear without straining. Audio book readers need more volume than does music.Water resistance rating is IPX7, which is as high as you are likely to get on a headset. Not only can you sweat profusely, with an IPX7 rating, you can also wear them in the shower and the rain.Pairing is quick and easy (Yoozon BT 10). There is a voice promptThe controls are on a 3-button box hanging just below the right side of the jaw. From top to bottom: “+” (volume and go back); “MF” (power, play/pause, call); ”-” (volume and next track). Short press for volume changes, long press for track changes.Regarding fit, they are lightweight and comfortable, very secure thanks to the ear hooks.The user guide is one of the best that I have seen with a headset. The information is complete, well written, and very easily read.The headset comes in very nice circular case, with zipper, which makes a great place to store the headset when not in use, or to carry the headset in your pocket, pack or purse when on the move.Also included are spare ear hooks, spare earbud covers of different sizes, and a charge cable.
