I purchased this for my father who was not able to do a whole lot by himself anymore, to have piece of mind at night that he could get ahold of me or my brother if he couldn't get to a phone.

You need to charge this daily. We got this for my mother in law that has dementia. She never charges it. We have to make sure we charge it at least every other day. It usually works well. Once it showed she had left her house while we were away at a nearby appointment. She actually didn't leave her yard. We reviewed her security cameras. We don't know why it showed that. She accidentally calls my husband several times a day by bumping the son button. She can't hear us when we try to talk to her through the necklace. It has given us a sense of extra security. I don't know if I would buy it again but it was worth a try.

Good for letting family where you are when on the road. But when your just around the house it sometimes says your gone when you’re not.

Purchased and subscribed for the $50 a month plan for a loved one who refused to use it (although they desperately needed it). Now I'm stuck making the payments. Angelsense offered to transfer the device to someone else for continuation of payments, which I didn't do.Worked well when I would test it.The charger sometimes had a hard time connecting.
