The flash lights are sturdy and give out a good amount of light in ...
I purchased these flashlights so that I could put them in my homemade emergency kits that I gave out at Christmas. I tested one out of one the 4 packs (I purchased two) and it worked well. The flash lights are sturdy and give out a good amount of light in the dark. At Christmas when I gave out the kits, I wanted to show everyone the features on the flash light so I took one out of my brother's emergency kit and put the batteries in. To my dismay and embarrassment, the flash light didn't work at all. I ran to get another one that I put in my emergency kit to swap them out. Great emergency kit item!!! So then I realized I gave out 8 emergency kits and I have no idea if the other flash lights work or not. I can't return them because came in a pack of four and I do not want to ask everyone to return them to me.If I hadn't gotten one bum flash light I would have rated this product a 5. They seem to be sturdy, compact and give off a good amount of light. Perfect to keep in your car in case something happens while you are driving at night.I just wanted to update my review. Byblight contacted me and is sending out a new replacement flashlight without me even contacting them. GREAT customer service. These little flash lights are great additions to any emergency kit or just to have around the house.

Look no further if you want a BRIGHT pocket-sized flashlight
These flashlights are a great deal. The 150 lumen lights are bright and the adjustable beam works very well. I use mine everyday at work, several times a day along with the co-workers I gave three of the flashlights to, and we're all very happy with them. I noticed one comment in another person's review about the three mode lights that I'd like to point out. They mentioned that with each press the flashlight moves through three modes, 1) bright, 2) brighter, and 3) strobe, and that when you turn it off the next time you turn it on it will come on in the "next" mode. So if you turn it on and off twice it will be in the Brightest mode, but the next time you turn it on it will be in the Strobe mode. However, you don't have to turn the light on and off three times to move from strobe to the brightest mode. Instead of turning it on and off three times you can move quickly through the modes by half-pressing the switch with your thumb after turning it on - it's really very easy. And by using the first setting (bright) instead of always using the brightest setting you can extend the life of your batteries. They're small enough to fit into a pocket but they cast enough light to do the work of a larger flashlight. The price was very reasonable, the shipping was prompt, and they were well packaged. I would definitely recommend them and will buy them again when the time comes to replace mine.

Great for what they are
OK, these are not high end flash lights....what, about $4 each. (I bought the zoom ones - 3 sets, or 12 flashlights total). My wife needed for her classroom for a science experiment.First, these are bright for what they are, I have ones that are a ton better, at 10X the cost. Focused down, I can shine the light on my sheds (150ft away) and can almost make out the individual boards on the fence behind it. I should note, the focused down beam is about 15ft wide at 150ft, and .... a square shape. Round for most other zooms. Widest beam is about 60deg...maybe.3 light functions: bright, dim, flashing. This is done by only pushing the button part way in, not all the way (which turns it on and off).As for the zoom, it actually does "focus" the light, or make the light more intense as it gets smaller...I had assumed the focus was more of a shade, but that idea turned out wrong once I tried them. They do not come with batteries (needs 3 AA), but do include a lanyard. Only just received them, so no idea how long they will last.Quality: they seem to be designed well, quality seems good, assy...ok. All 12 worked, at least half the lanyard holes have paint/filing blocking it, so in most cases you will need something to clean it out. Also, the lens was loose on about a third of them, just need to screw it back down. Additionally, the zoom part in front didn't seem to initially move on about a third of them (not the same third as the lens) and requires a twist to get it moving....after that they work fine. All in all, a great little flashlight (for now) for the money.
