This mattress pad has made my bed so much more comfortable. It’s extremely soft and so well padded that it feels like I have a new mattress!

I have one cat that prefers to show her anger by peeing in my bed, sometimes with me in it.I bought one of these on the fastest shipping speed to get my mattress covered to prevent cat smells from sinking in.I now have two of these so if my cat gets angry again I can always have the mattress protected.I sleep on a Japanese style futon, on the floor, and these do fit. I can feel them under the cotton futon cover, but it doesn't impact my sleep.As for fluid resistance, this can handle one entire cat bladder without any seep-through.

This is a great mattress protector for people that are already satisfied with their mattresses comfort level, and don't want to add a lot of bulk to it. The mattress protector is very thin, it really just feels like another fitted sheet, and you can't even tell it's on. That was great for me because my mattress is very comfortable already, so I didn't want the bulk of a thicker mattress pad/protector. It fits very snug and doesn't slip or move around much at all.Someone else mentioned that this isn't 100% tencel / 100% bamboo, but the fact is a mattress protector can't be 100% tencel or any pure breathable fabric. It has to have polyester to form the waterproof protective layer, and that is also what gives you protection from dustmites. The tencel or bamboo is really just a thin surface coating to add comfort, but since your fitted sheet goes on top it really doesn't seem to make a huge difference.The mattress protector fits snugly on my 11 inch queen mattress. It barely covered the sides, but seems to be deep enough. It may or may not work well on a 12"+ mattress, but I don't think you really need complete coverage with a mattress protector - just a thin barrier should work well enough to keep sweat and oil off the mattress and dust mites out of it.I wanted this primarily for allergy reasons, and even though it is thin, this mattress protector will work perfectly to keep the dust mites from penetrating my mattress and to prevent stains and discoloration on my mattress.

So quiet and comfy you forget it’s there. Only issue is that description says it fits up to 18” mattress, where package says 15” which is accurate. Doubt it would fit much over 15”.

I got this Swiss Comforts bamboo mattress cover (twin size) for my daughter's bed so I could double-wrap the mattress in two mattress protectors in case she has an accident in the middle of the night. She's almost 5-years-old and potty-trained but occasionally has an accident while she sleeps. I learned the double-wrapping trick from other moms - if your child has an accident, all you have to do is remove the top sheet and top mattress cover. Underneath it there will already be another mattress cover so all you have to do is put a new set of sheets on top. Even though mattress covers claim to be waterproof, leaks still happen - especially since kids seem to move around at night and can cause the sheets to move. I actually had a mattress cover fail on me (can't remember the brand) as my daughter had a big accident in the middle of the night (which caused the foam mattress below to stain). I highly recommend stocking up on two mattress covers to ensure that the mattress beneath is protected. After unwrapping the mattress cover when you first buy it, you should wash it on a cold cycle (either on low or hand-wash setting). I dried on a medium-heat cycle (also labeled "casual"). After that disinfection in the washer/dryer, it was clean enough to apply to my daughter's bed. The material is super soft and doesn't rustle. I highly recommend this product if you have kids or if you are potty-training little ones.

This is a quality mattress cover, much better than brand names found in big box stores. It is not too thick or not too thin, it is a modest thickness yet I fear that readers might think that means thin. By no means is it thin, it just isnt a pillow topper super thick deluxe ultra puffy cover. It is a nice cover, the thickness that is appropriate. In my opinion, the cover being too thick is covering up for a junky mattress. This is a cover to protect a quality mattress.It comes in a clear zipper pouch package, when you open that and feel and start to pull the cover out it will make some slight noise sounding like plastic, DO NOT panic, this noise does not appear when it is on the bed and only appears when the water proof sides are rubbing together, of course they do not touch when they are on the bed, the waterproof membrane is against the mattress and the soft part is against your sheets.I don't have kids or kittens or any wetting on my beds butr we are in Florida and when hurricanes come we lose power and the nights are sweaty miserable. This will protect the costly mattresses below when a hurricane takes our power.I highly recommend this affordable and quality mattress cover.
