It doesn’t look anything like the picture

Great product.

There are two parts to this review, the good and the bad.The good. The item is shipped in the appropriate packaging (cardboard box roughly 1 ft each side) and was promptly delivered, ahead of the promised delivery window. The paint job is nice and neatly covers the outside, the inside is left as raw aluminum. As advertised, it comes with the ratchet suspension which is easy to install following the included instructions. It also has an elastic adjustable strap to run through the chin which offers an extra holding point so I won't worry about the hat falling. The integrity of the hat seems solid, it looks like it will provide appropriate protection for typical common sense situations.The bad. The actual item has multiple dents, four noticeable ones (see pictures with labels for them). Note that must have had those those before it was painted (they were definitely not due to shipping). Then, most of the descriptions given by the seller don't correspond to the item shipped. The description states "ANSI Z89.1-2014" but the item itself has a different (earlier) one (see last picture). It also states "Skullbucket Logo embossed on hard hat" and "Only the authentic Skullbucket hardhat comes with the embossed logo", I'm including both pictures, front and back, of the hat and it has no logo, did I receive a non-authentic Skullbucket hardhat?. Last, while the seller doesn't explicitly state this, other reviews imply this is a "Made in USA" hard hat, which is incorrect. The print on the inner side of the brim shown on the last picture clearly says "Made in China".In summary, lesson learned. This was supposed to be a gift for a friend but now I won't be giving this. I wouldn't risk my friend being as disappointed in me -as I was about this seller- thinking that I just bought for him a cheap knockoff. I will keep it for myself anyway, I don't see any point in spending extra resources to request the seller to make it right.
