We bought this to keep our dog off the new couch. Works like a charm. We just flip it upside down & no dog on the couch. We love our dog, but she has her own furniture :)

The plastic mat is very thing. Plus they charge you $8.00 for return shipping.

It was thin enough to cut with shears, but the "deep pile" teeth were too short and widely spaced to be useful on deep pile carpet much less as the cat deterrent I hoped for.

Purchased to protect the carpet in front of my doggie door. It's a bit too light weight, and it travels on the carpet.

Some reviewers of other brands were disappointed how light weight the product they received was. I noticed this product shipping weight was twice that of other brands (4 lbs. vs. 2). The product does weigh about 3 lbs. I bought two to keep cats off the bed. I'm happy with the product.
