Getting 10 oz of matcha for $17 is actually quite a steal. The only thing is at such a low price for so much matcha, you do have to expect the matcha will be of a lower quality. For what it is and the price I paid, it's decent, though I've only used it in making matcha lattes. The color isn't as bright as the packaging shows, and no where near as much of a beautiful deep green. It's more of a brown-yellow color. There also wasn't a silica gel pack to absorb any possible moisture, so the poor color could be due to that. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the color wasn't the same as the one on the package (which is to be expected, but still is a bit of false advertising).Other than that, if you make a lot of matcha drinks at home and don't want to spend a lot of money on small portions of matcha powder, you might end up liking this. But if you care more about the quality of the matcha, you should probably look elsewhere.

I have tasted matcha of far better quality, but this one does the job whenever I am preparing smoothies or baking matcha cookies. For a hot latte, I decided to stick with the more expensive matcha I already owned.Love the fact that it really is unsweetened, unlike other brands that say the same but still taste sweet.

Review might go up but I have to say not adding a scoop for better portion control here could be a mistake. I haven't tried blending it into a smoothie yet as its not quite that time of the year but still trying to figure out the best way to incorporate it into a cup of hot tea or something similar. The powder does not mix easily and using a drink mixer is proving to be quite messy in a normal mug. I always throw in a stick of Cinnamon for flavor so might have to look at blending it cold and trying to make it in batches?

This powder was wonderful matcha powder for my latte. Use simply natural vanilla almond milk two tablespoon of sugar free syrup with ice lite dairy free wipe cream and it was a Go! Saving money from going to Starbucks
