This is my first time trying out this product. I have type 4 hair and it’s usually dry due to me neglecting it 🥲. But I tried this and it’s very thick and heavy and honestly a little bit goes a long way. You literally need a lil bit to add some moisture. I would continue to use it and see how it goes.The smell: it smells like pure castor oil and the scent is not that strong which is good.It’s quite a bit oily but I believe that’s from all the other products that I add to my hair on a daily basisBut the moisture is 10/10.Would recommend.

Gave it a try as I love JBCO and am trilled beyond words with how amazing this worked in my hair. After washing and hydrating my hair the night before I took it down and applied this to my scalp and a little to my hair. Wow just Wow, my hair just melted into a soft shiny mass of hair. I was worried because of some of the reviews but my hair loves JBCO so decided to go for it. I will forever and always use this product as it has become a permanent part of my hair care routine. And yes the jar is small but you only need a little so will last a while and I can’t smell it once it’s in my hair.

I just received this product. It is too early to see if it does what it says. I gave it high stars, because it has a good consistency, it is easy to spread and it seems to add hair moisture. It can be heavy and greasy on the hair if not used in very small amounts. It has an unpleasant smell. It smells like bacon grease. I hope it is not noticeable to others when I am out. I think that the price is too high for this little small jar. For the amount that it cost, I certainly hope that it does what it says. I will give an update, after I have used it for a good period of time.

So far, it provides a good moisture for the hair. I have not been able to see if it enhances growth, but overall I like it for the moisturizer.

I ordered the infused butter but got the oil (pictured). There is no "Contact Seller" link on their profile, which is problematic in cases like this where a wrong item is received.I didn't want to go through the hassle of going to Kohl's to return it and order again in hopes of actually getting the butter version so I'll just use the oil. I'll come back and update the review on the product itself but I just needed to note that I received the wrong product.Upon opening, the smell isn't too pungent, which is a good starting point.

I'm not crazy about the smell, but it did make my hair soft. It's very thick but I put it on my scalp and brush a little through my hair at night and wake up to nice soft hair. The smell also seems to dissipate somewhat by morning. I may try the oil when this is gone. I do think it's a good product.

I wanted to to try the Chebe powder blend, it’s good, but, I really didn’t see or feel a difference. They both work well on my hair.
