I’ve used this product off and on for over 20 years. I keep it at my desk so I don’t forget to apply twice a day. Nails are strong and healthy.

Excellent product

I damaged my nail matrix really bad after getting it caught in the car door and my nail fell off. I bought this about a week after it started healing and my nail is growing back after using this for 2 weeks twice a day. It is so expensive but it is so worth it. It is not a polish like other nail growth products which was critical because my nail was so tender I couldn't event put polish on it. This stuff is amazing and moisturizing and saved my nail

As a teen I had surgery on my toe and since then the left 1/4 of my nail grows in angled wrong which makes it fragile on one side of my toe and only able to grow about 1/5 of an inch on one side. It forms a major crack once it gets to 1/5 of an inch. So it looks like I cut a square out of my nail on the top left side. I have tried everything, even trying to strengthen it with crazy glue. Nothing worked. When I put Mavala on in the morning and evening after a few months I had a normal shaped nail. It still grows in wrong but the strength and flexibility of the nail has changed dramatically so it no longer cracks off. The key is twice a day application without it getting washed off or wiped off by socks. (Before putting on socks give the cream time to soak in.) I know twice a day is key because I have had a harder time getting my finger nails to grow using Nailactin. My fingernails are better for sure, I put the cream on every night, but during the day it seems like I can't go 30 minutes without getting my hands wet. My nails crack on the edges way below my fingertips. I take collagen every day and eat well, it' just my body chemistry I guess. My nails are better with applying the Nailactin cream at night, but I have not seen as dramatic results as on my toe where I use it morning and evening. Be patient. The cream is working on the nails as they form and grow from your nail beds. You only need a small amount and if you are wearing nail polish don't bother putting it over the polish. Basically you are waiting for the new and improved nail to grow out from below the cuticle area. If you stop using the cream your nails will go back to how they used to be.

I picked my nails my entire life (I'm 29) and when I say pick I mean my nails were so short swiping a nail brush horizontally across my nail would completely cover the entire fingernail. They were a hot mess. I tried all the growth and strengtheners but none seemed to help much and it was tedious having to apply a fresh coat each day to clean nails. I then resorted to acrylic nails which looked pretty but essentially did further damage with grinding them with power tools. I had extremely dry and flaky cuticles no matter how often I applied oil and lotion nothing seemed to help. That all changed when I tried Mavala!Mavala does wonders!!! All it takes is applying the lotion on the nails massaging cuticles before bed. It absorbs so quickly so it really only takes maybe a minute or 2 to do. Within a couple days the nails are shiny and healthy. It works with the nails you have now so you wont have to wait and wait to see improvement. My finger nails feel smoother and my cuticles are adequately moisturized without having to constantly apply lotion all day. Considering that I work in healthcare and wash my hands countless times throughout the day and my cuticles are healthy and not cracked and cross speaks volumes to how far this stuff goes! A little bit goes a long way! If you miss a couple days your nails don't look too awful as opposed to other products once you stop using it your nails go back to where you started. While with the jar you may be able to get a tiny bit more product, I find the tube easier to apply.

Helps soft nails improve

This product is wonderful for my thin, soft nails. It conditions my mail beds, keeps my cuticles soft, and promotes healthy nail growth.

Very satisfied with the product. After finishing one jar ordered a second one. My nails are better now.

It restored my brittle nails back to health. Should be used every night before bedtime to benefit most of the nourishing effect on both cuticles and nails. Also a must after removing nail polish on your toes.Love it, despite finding it a little pricey.

Another "hope in a jar" kind of product. I don't notice a thing. Won't buy again.
