The mask material is a little thicker than some of the cheaper masks on the market. It holds a lot of the formula in its fibers.The mask was pretty easy to open and flatten out. There are some that you rip just trying to get it open.My husband has a beard, so the mask only stuck to his forehead and cheeks. He texted me 10 minutes later telling me it had fallen off while he was reading.My mask stayed in place. My face burned about 5 minutes into the experience but the sensation quickly subsided. After 20 minutes, I slid the mask off and rubbed as much of the remaining formula into my skin. I then fell asleep and rinsed it off in the morning.I felt a little tingle when I rinsed, but otherwise no sensation. When I patted my skin dry, my face looked visibly softer, moisturized.I like everything about the product except the for the ingredient mentioned in other reviews. That would probably stop me from reordering something that is claimed to be “clean beauty”. No integrity there. Otherwise, good product.
