Really amazing surprisingly introspective book
I LOVE this book. Even as an adult it really makes you think. And it is very helpful for kids and in sibling rivalry situations. The counselor showed it to us and we bought one for home.

Spoke to my 4 year old
This was my 4 year old's must-read for several months, and he eventually memorized it. "Hey it was my turn to stir" is also an actual quote from my son. Really opened up the discussion about "fairness" (and life's lack of it) for our family.

So Cute!
This has to be one of the best children's books ever. It teaches children a very important lesson: Life isn't fair, so just embrace it. The rhythmic flow of the text and cute illustrations make this book enjoyable for both children and adults.

Do not recommend !!
I did not like this book. It has no substance to it. It went through every scenario saying so and so had this. That’s not fair. And this or that and that’s not fair. And it ended the book like that too. I got this book thinking it would explain how things aren’t always fair but that is just life and that is ok. But, it didn’t explain it one bit. It just kept saying not fair not fair with no lesson wrapped in it to explain why the whole book isn’t fair. It ended up sounding bratty to me. We will not be adding this to our library after all.

What's the theme?
Cute illustrations but not sure what the point is. Just a bunch of complaining but no resolution, no message, ends with more dissapointment. Only message I got is that little kids whine about everything. Keeping it cuz it was only $6

Four Stars
I look forward to reading this book to my kindergarten class in the fall.

Fun Story - Could have used a punch line.
I liked the story and the illustrations, but for the sake of the kids I read to, I could have used a more obvious 'it's not fair - but it's Ok' ending.
