FlexzillaAir Hose 1/4 in x 50', 1/4 in. MNPT Fittings, Heavy Duty, Lightweight, Hybrid, ZillaGreen - HFZ1450YW2

I wanted a lighter weight 50' air hose for use in my garage - this is very much fits the bill. I'm not a professional and mainly use my compressor with air tools such as 3/8" ratchets, blowguns, and occasionally a 1/2" impact - the biggest benefit compared to regular 3/8" rubber air hose is that this is much lighter and very flexible (hence the name). It does have manageable "memory" and coiling up the hose after you are done has to be done in an over under fashion but it is certainly not like other PVC hoses where it retains the coil when unwound so yes, this hose will lay flat. I've seen some reviews saying that this item is not a real Flexilla with very feint markings - the one I received was clearly marked and marked almost needlessly so - if this is not a real one they've spent a lot of money copying it. I've only used this a few times since it's purchase - seems to be fine in terms of durability - I will update if that changes. I'd likely buy another for work done further away from my compressor and because I usually buy a "spare" when I've found something that works well and I like.

It is super flexible in any weather and it is very lightweight. Well worth the money. I have the air hoses, garden hoses and extension cords.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the 50' 1/4" hose to use with my portable compressor. I then cut it to be 15' and 35' and used the Flexzilla replacement end fittings. This worked great. The hose was easy to cut with a razor and their replacement ends went on perfectly.The replacement ends were their Pro line so this gave me a great opportunity to compare the Pro fitting with the standard fitting. The fittings on both of them are made from aluminum. I think the only thing that's really different is the strain relief. The pro is spiraled and made from a very flexible plastic whereas the standard is a stiff rubber-like material. The spiral strain relief of the pro works leagues better than the strain relief on the regular. However, both do a fine job of getting the strain point away from the metal fitting so i think both will work just fine and not cause you problems. For daily use I'd likely want the pro since the spiral lets it droop a bit better, effectively extending your air tool by a flexible 3" instead of a solid 5" like the standard does.I also have a 6 year old reel of 3/8" flexzilla hose. The thickness of the 1/4" is obviously much less, but they both have the same amount of flex in them. You can make a very small radius and it still wont kink. Works fine in all weather conditions. However, the hose is somewhat rubbery so it may snag up if you're trying to tug it around a wall corner.I really love flexzilla hoses and will never go back to using those cheap plasticy hoses again. These are awesome in comparison.

Love this flexzilla hose. I used this 50' foot hose to make a four-way tire inflator it's the perfect length and easy to roll up and doesn't kink like other brands. The 1/4 inch diameter is perfect for airing up or airing down and doesn't take up much room.

Only complaint is plastic couplings. I think only reason for plastic is weight issue. I'd prefer metal. It lays flat so no tripping over hose.

This hose is great I replaced our old hose with this one it’s more flexible and lighter but still durable. I like these hoses so much I have replaced our power washer hose with this brand also.

This air hose is the best I've found for final connection to my air tools from the main compressor line. It has been subjected to rain, harsh conditions, and heavy heat and uv rays from the sun here in Florida. It has remained flexible, and I have seen no visible degradation to date. Even after having been run over by various pieces of equipment. I will be buying more of these. I'm very happy with the quality so far.

Bought on sale. Can't beat it.

Works as expected, using as a quick way to extend the air hose outside the garage.
