Japanese bowl set, cherry blossom 2 colors design, set of 2 bowls and 2 chopsticks

These are so cute. They are the color I expected and the chopsticks match the bowls. They are smaller bowls, but not uncommon for rice. These seem like nice quality but have not tested for microwave or dishwasher safeness.

The painted stripes around the top edge of these bowls are very different in size. My immediate impression after opening the box and looking in was that they are VERY small and of poor quality. So far, I haven't even taken them out of the box and I've had them for over a month. I'm just too lazy to go through the return process.

These bowls were a bit smaller than I expected but I'm very pleased with how pretty they are. The chopsticks are a very pretty bonus!
