Genuine Leather Dog Collar with Alloy Buckle and Double D Rings (Large, Brown)

Dear Abby, I feel like my wife loves my dog more than me. I've needed a new belt for months but keeping being told that we don't need to waste the money and that my belt is fine. I feel second fiddle to the dog Abby. The damn dog got a new genuine leather collar that looks nicer than anything I have in my closet. It's very nice leather and has excellent hardware as well as double D rings to help keep it tight. What should I do Abby, it's obvious my wife loves the dog more than me. -Broken Hearted in Baltimore

Very nice leather quality with solid stitching. I like the additional leash ring--a brilliant idea. Wish I had found these earlier, as my dogs are 14 and 10. I am certain the leashes will long outlives both doggies. The price for the quality is amazing. Unheard of, especially compared to pet shop prices. I would love to see an even softer body hardness with less bulky buckles for older dogs by this seller--low profile, much like a nice horse bridle type quality. I do not like the plastic buckle ones that are available on the market right now. Lastly, lovely packaging, very classy. Highly recommend and would purchase again.

I bought two in October for my two dogs. Initially i was impressed with the packaging and that they really are beautiful collars. I took care of them with the highest quality leather products. My dogs walk on HS prons, so a leash was never attached to them. They were never pulled on or anything. By January, they were scratched and ugly looking, despite me regularly conditioning and sealing the leather.By March, one of the loops just fell off. For absolutley no reason. Then the collar started falling off my dog. The other one is still in tact but looks really worn. I don't recommend these, unless you only put them on for special occasions.

Overall I think this is really nice for the price I paid. The leather seems sturdy, will have to keep an eye on it. Since one of the puppies likes biting on collars. One of the rivets has already come off. Under most circumstances I think these collars are a great buy. I may edit later if any problems arise.

Got this collar 4 months ago as I write this review. It has two loops (one for the tag and the other for the leash I assume) and the one in the middle of the collar came loose due to one of the fastening rivets coming undone. Otherwise it’s Been a fine collar and it’s served it’s purpose and we’ll be keeping it as long as it continues to do so. However, if you NEED to walk your dog several times a day then definitely don’t rely on the collar. We have a back yard so going on walks was an occasional thing and it still couldn’t handle the wear and tear. Our dog pulls but still, he’s less than 30 pounds. I just got a harness for walks seeing as how this collar might not hold up to the stress anymore (it was the loop that we used for the leash that came loose)

This has been my go to collar for years. Love it. Wish the stitching would last longer but lives through wear and tear. On my 4th one. Leather is great.

Looks beautiful. Very firm material. Unfortunately, it was on the dog less than a week before it broke.My 80 pound rotty mix saw a cat and lunged, that was the end of it. Leather snapper right at the buckle and he tore off through the woods, leaving his tags behind. Not happy at all.Would be good for a gentle dog that wont put pressure on it. Its looked very nice while it lasted.

I chose this collar because of the double D ring. I really like the second D ring for the leash. I was surprised when I received the collar in the mail, it arrived in what looked like a jewelry box and inside it was in a jewelry bag too. I felt like I ordered a very expensive collar and the collar looks and feels like it’s well made. However time will tell.
