very well designed gimbal, lots of features, but I used only few with my last project.The build quality is mostly plastic but sturdy, and the gimbal has an integrated feet which is great to put down the gimbal without having to put on the tripod, and it does hide away when you do not need it.The design of the gimbal makes it a little larger and not very portable but it gives you a full package on the go without the need of extra accessories.The gimbal has no LCD screen so you can't see or do any major changes to the gimbal, you will need their dedicated app to be able to take full control of the gimbal, but again for the price it is only fair.One of the good things that I really liked is that you can memorize your setup with little red markers so it will be easier to pack and unpack the gimbal.The controls are decent but not great as cycling between modes is just in one direction so once you are out of a certain mode, you need to cycle through all the other modes to get back to it.Overall, great value gimbal with very functional design, feel free to look at my video which was shot with this gimbal and used a lens Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 DG DN, which is considered to be a heavy lens.

I'm a pro shooter; I've used MANY gimbals over the years from the early big clunky things to the modern lightweight but powerful gimbals. Probably just like YOU, this caught my eye because it's really the first serious and sensible complete re-take on an affordable pro gimbal in many years. The more I looked at it the more I could envision it being able to easily get shots I usually have to work pretty darn hard to get. And, well, it just looks insanely cool, right?I've used with with several VERY different cameras and it's the easiest gimbal to balance-out I've ever owned ... definitely goes from brand new camera to ready to shoot in just a few minutes, so that's cool. And yep, it totally delivered those shots I was looking for, check my cheezy little video out I'm posting here, just a cell-phone quickie, but it clearly shows how this think smokes every other gimbal in certain shooting situations.A couple more thoughts. It certainly looks and feels like a professional accessory, and the phone app worked without a hitch, although the app had some Scorp-Pro features that this model couldn't access/utilize. But still, some serious programmable moves and insanely smooth action while controlling the gimbal from the phone app.This is a GREAT addition for a pro or semi-pro who already has more standard style gimbal(s), but I'd certainly think it would make a perfect first gimbal for the shooter stepping up to their first pro level gimbal, and it's quite cost-friendly. But, before you purchase one, I'd suggest you do a solid comparison between the this and the Scorp-Pro before you buy, I'm kinda wishing I had some of the features of the Pro.One comment on battery life, it seems great, probably on-par with about 6-8 hours of continuous use on a single charge, but some of my other gimbals have field replaceable 18650 batteries and I WISH this gimbal was outfitted that way, easily replaced batteries are ALWAYS your friend on a shoot! But it's not a deal-breaker ... I'm totally jazzed to get out and shout with this!

Also der Unterschied, den dieser Gimbal beim Filmen macht ist riiiieesig! Eines vorneweg: ich empfehle jedem Videofilmer für seine DSLR oder Spiegellose so ein Gerät!Aber der Reihe nach - alles besteht aus hochwertigen Materialien und ist richtig gut verarbeitet. Die dahinterstehende Technik ist durchdacht und funktioniert entsprechend. Wichtig: am Anfang muss man alle Achsen erst einmal mit der Kamera samt Objektiv ordentlich austarieren (dazu gibt es auch ein Video). Ich nutze unterschiedliche Linsen beim Filmen und habe mir deshalb die jeweiligen Einstellungen am Gimbal mit einem weißen Edding markiert. So kann ich nach dem Linsenwechsel praktisch "blind" die Einstellungen auf die andere Linse verändern.Es gibt verschiedene Modi für unterschiedliche Zwecke. Der Anfänger muss das erst einmal austesten und ein wenig üben.Die Stabilisierung, die von diesem Gimbal erreicht wird ist krass - da wackelt nix mehr.
