This Does It
This Maestro Wireless Multi-Location Dimmer has been mounted as the first touch inside the front door. After pressing the wall-mount unit, the sixMaestro Wireless MRF2-3PD-3(http://www.amazon.com/Lutron-MRF2-3PD-3-WH-Maestro-Wireless-Plug-In/dp/B003WGRVLA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394842117&sr=8-1&keywords=MRF2-3PD-3)table lamps uniformly and gently fade up to a preset level to fill this room with soothing warm light. Each Multi-location Dimmer can accommodate ten tabletop, wall and hand-held remotes at a time. Ordering two more hand-held remotes (it's RF / Radio so no need to point an IR / Infrared remote awkwardly any longer!) for adjacent bedroom area and opposite end of main room corridor. This, I think, is as simple, elegant, ingenious and understated as I've ever seen from any company. Lutron gets all my business now.

Says it works with LEDs, but they don't
Doesn't work with LED light bulbs. After I installed it the lights turn on. After I turn it off, the LED on the switch starts flickering. Doubled check the connections, replaced with the old switch to check it again. And still the blinking switch LEDs.

Works most of the time
Love the idea of this product. Used for my mom who is elderly and has trouble getting around. Allows her to dim or turn off her room lights remotely from around the corner since it is not and IR remote. Don't know if I got a bad unit or its a product design flaw. Every few weeks the light switch will get stuck on. The remote and the manual switch will not control the lights. i have to shut off the circuit and then turn it back on. this seems to reset the switch and she can use it again. If no one else has similar issues then this is a good product and maybe just mine is flawed. If other reviews have same issue may want to consider a different option.

Doesn't work with Lutron's Bridge system (or Harmony remotes), but a great dimmer otherwise!
I purchased these to work with a Logitech Harmony remote (The Harmony Hub). Unfortunately it doesn't work with them. It also doesn't work with Lutron's Home Bridge system (The Bridge works with Harmony though). However, the switch was easy to install and I love how it dims the lights. Petty I know, but I love when you turn the lights on it slowly brings them up (2 seconds or so before full brightness). That's really nice after watching a TV show in the dark for a bit.If you're not needing the Harmony compatibility and are looking for a dimmer with remote capability, this is a great option.

Cool gizmo
Am disabled and need to turn lights on plants over 35 feet away from around a corner. Press a button on remote and it is so cool how the lights slowly come up and pressed off they slowly go down. With tiny green lights on the left of the switch to tell you what lefel you are at. Very sophisticated. Small con in that they dont tell you not to connect to strand wire (should use solid wire) until you open up package. Their support staff is incredible. 24/7. How often do you find that and they know about many different kinds of electrical issues you may face installing their product with. Know their stuff and ready to resolve issues. Professional site. It is well worth the cost for what it does and it is a quality product.

Does what it's supposed to, easy to install & setup
First a disclosure, I am a licensed electrician so installation was straightforward. The instructions were clear and easy to understand.I use these switches for homeowners who want to be able to turn on their exterior lights from their car when they come home after dark, and for situations where within the home, an additional switch is desirable or necessary and running wires is near impossible or destructive, such as in a long hallway or a stairwell.I'v had the switch/ remote setup in use in my own house for 8 years and other homes for longer than that. In our case we haven't had to change the battery on the remote yet, others have reported the same.

Stopped working in fewer than 9 months
It was exactly what I was looking for - a wireless dimmer with remote control. This was to go in an attic loft where the light switch was at the bottom of the stairs. Installed like any other light switch. Worked great initially. However it began to have strange problems within the first month - it required multiple taps and made strange flickerings at times, but eventually would recover. Now, after about 10 months of infrequent use, there is no response. Now the area is a hazard, and I have to break out the electrical gear to replace it. We are talking about a light switch, not a light bulb - These products should have longer life! Very disappointed in you Lutron!

Nice light dimmer with wireless remote - Buy it.
Well made product that also works perfectly. Very easy to replace a single pole light switch with this dimmer switch. The remote works great and I like that it is an RF (radio controlled) remote rather than an IR ( infrared) remote. You don't need to aim the remote at the light switch. Use the remote anywhere in the room or even nearby rooms. Great range. Full ON/OFF control with seamless dimming and even an adjustable preset level for your favorite mood lighting. I recommend it.

Quick easy installation, works like a charm
Easy install, works well. I am not electrician, but found the installation very quick and easy. I cut a hole in wall next to existing switch, installed old work box, ran wires from old switch to new box, connected Lutron switch, paired remote, all done in under 30 minutes.
