Breathtaking romance

Loved it !

The story in itself is amazing but I'm here to give a review about the book quality. The pages of the copy I got are so rough and in multiple places, the words have not been printed properly. The most troubling thing of all is that when I remove a sticky bookmark that I placed on the printed words, the ink comes onto the bookmark. I very much disliked this. I've bought paperbacks before but this issue was not there in them.

Love love love this book! I was not able to put it down. Obviously Shonda version is better in terms of writing. But the story still is very addicting. I’m obsessed with Kathony :)

This was truly a wonder to read. Anthony and Kate are now my favorite ficitional couple, one that goes through rough roads and sadness and pain hover through them most of the novel.Anthony's background is a very sad one and I found him to be misunderstood. Obviously, he was a Rake, as Whistledown so ellegantly put it, but that side of him was a shadow he uses over his true self. The one hurt by his father's death and the one that believes in true love.Kate's story is also traggic and when her stepmother is telling it, I got tears in my eyes. The fact that she had nightmares because she saw her mother die of Influenza on a night of a furious storm, it nearly bring me to my knees on how deeply I felt for Kate.They found friendship, began as enemies and turned their anger into passion. When he told her he loved her, I cried from happiness, the tears were rolling down my face. It was beautiful, truthful and intimate. I loved this book so much, I can't imagine any of the rest of the series topping it.
