AlternativeMen's Shirt, Short Sleeve The Keeper Tee

I have purchased this tee twice now for my husband. It is a great tee to where alone or as a shirt under a flannel or jacket. It has a much nicer look than something like a Hanes undershirt. It has a better cut, and the fabric feel more upscale. Great price, too!

Great shirt overall. Got mine while they were about $12 each. I bought one at size small and it was bigger than expected so I went to an XS (depending on the brand I fluctuate sizes) and it fit great. I went ahead and ordered 2 more as they said they were getting low on stock. Great T-Shirt !

I love Alternative Apparel t-shirts. More importantly my husband does too. He is a handy man and it seems like every shirt we buy him gets covered in paint, dirt, grossness. He is reticent to buy t-shirts for non-workwear. I finally said enough is enough and bought him all new shirts. He had an Alternative Apparel tshirt from years ago which he has worn so long that it was getting a little questionable. So when I went back on the hunt to build out his wardrobe, I didn't hesitate for a single second and found a bunch of Alternative Apparel t-shirts on Amazon. Now I read all the reviews and I have to say I disagree with most of the naysayers. What you need to know is that yes, this is a company for hipsters and youngsters, we are neither. Why would we buy their stuff? 1. Is is the softest shirt ever. EVER. 2. They last forever. They may get worn in, but isn't that what you want in a favorite t-shirt? 3. The color options are great. 4. They have larger sizes for a huskier man. So what do you need to know? Order a bit bigger. If you are an XL and want a little room...do not hesitate to get XXL. My husband has a belly, because we are old and because he does. The only beef we have is when you dry the shirts they get a little bit shorter. No worries...we just put them on a dry rack and the problem is solved. If I had one suggestion to Alternative Apparel - Make a "tall" version that gives an additional inch or so for the fellas that need a little more cover. Other than that, we will continue to buy their shirts as long as they make them.

Perfect fit, buttery soft 50/50 tee.If you're old enough to remember Russell Athletic and Champion t shirts used to feel like in the 70's & 80's - these will take you back. Single stitch - fancy! No one has seen that on an affordable basic tee shirt since the late 80's.Folks do ya'll selves a major and dont hesitate. Order your own size, not too fitted, but by no means too baggy.

Let me start by saying that I really enjoy the shape and fit of these shirts. I am 6 feet tall with a longer torso and it is difficult for me to find shirts of a comfortable length. These fit well and have sufficient length. Unfortunately there are some negatives as well. The collar is not seamless, which frankly I don't think I have seen on a t-shirt in 20 years. The fabric is very soft but it also doesn't hold up very well over time. I always hang these to dry but they begin to pill up after about 10 washes or so. Not a deal breaker for something worn casually but it's still an annoyance. They do start to shrink a bit after washing a few times as well so keep that in mind. Overall this is a good shirt to just lounge around the house in or throw under a sweater but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. They don't break the bank but they aren't going to last you very long either.

I have around 10+ of these shirts in different colors. I've been ordering them for the last couple years. Within the past month I ordered three white t's and 2 black t's. They are not the same as they once were. These are transparent and very thin, thinner than my others that have been washed & dried many times. What happened?

I'm 5'10" 165 lbs. I've been described as skinny. Oh my goodness, for what I paid for this shirt - $8 - it was a steal. I'm introverted so I love the earth tone colors that don't draw attention to myself. bought 5 more of these shirts in different colors. Pretty light, but not see - through. I wear these in public just on their own and feel fairly legit.

This is a perfect everyday t-shirt. It’s soft, breathable, casual fit but not boxy. A true go-to for daily wear.

This is a great tee, good fit and soft material. Will be a go to purchase for basic tees.

Found this shirt a while ago at a boutique shop. So pumped to find it available online. Honestly my favorite shirt I've ever owned

The shirt on Amazon is NOT the same quality as the Alternative t-shirt I buy in store. The quality, sizing, colour and fit is NOT the same. I'm an XL and I have to return it because it's too big. XL is never too big for me! I won't order again.
