SlickMod PreCut Vinyl Smoke Tint for 2022-2023 Honda Civic Headlight (4. Headlight Sidemarker, 20% Dark Smoke)

This is an excellent tint option for the fog lights on my 2023 Honda Civic Hatchback. I opted for the yellow tint. It took me about 30 minutes to do the entire install process and required some minor readjustments to make sure the tint was positioned perfectly to align with my fog lights. The price was cheaper than some of the competitors out there, and I think it’s pretty good quality tint for the price.Once you receive the fog light tint, there are a few things you must keep in mind:1. Make sure to clean the surface of your fog lights thoroughly to make sure there is no dust or debris.2. Follow the instructions on what solution is suggested for the tint installation, but I just used a drop or two of the original blue Dawn dish soap to my 8 oz. spray bottle. I liberally sprayed my solution on both the fog light and the back of the adhesive part of the tint. I then aligned the tint as centered as I possibly could on my fog light. The solution helps greatly with the application, and as the water dries, the sticky side will start to bond with the surface of the lights.3. After you have centered your tint, I would use a heat gun or hair dryer. It does not take much heat to make the tint malleable. You can observe the tint shift and even curl slightly as you apply some heat, so the moment you see that, you can remove the heat. You will want to use your thumb or finger from the center of the tint and work your way out toward the edges of the tint. This will straighten out the tint as well as remove any small bubbles that may form as you’re moving your finger. You can apply heat whenever you feel it is necessary. Take your time. You want to be able to smooth it out as best you can, and make sure you do not drop the tint or get anything on the adhesive side. If you do, you may be able to use the solution to maybe wipe off anything, but I would avoid getting any debris or dust on the adhesive side of the tint.Overall, I highly recommend this tint option for those who want an extra bit of flair to their fog lights. I have read that yellow light is just better on the eyes in fog than regular light, so that was also the reason for choosing this specific tint color as well as just personally liking the aesthetics of the yellow more.

The key of applying this product on is patience!!! Most reviews had issues because they are impatient and assume that the product will apply like a sticker. It’s tint so it’s completely different from just a sticker. The product does come with instructions that are very simple. Overall for me it was a great purchase for it being my first time applying tint on my car by myself.

Followed the directions and it didn’t stick at all. Tried using a heat gun to help but nothing. Very disappointed cheap product.

Looks better but it is a little hard to install, make sure to take your time and do your research before applying it.

Got the 35% light smoke vinly tint for the corners. They were very easy to install when you follow the directions. Thankfully I had a few things on hand to help; felt squeegee, spray bottle to use with a mixture of baby shampoo and water, and a heat gun. Took maybe 15 - 20 minutes to install all together.May have been sent the 20% by mistake since they do look a little darker than what the 35% should possibly be. Overall pretty satisfied. Hopefully they'll last awhile.

I’ve bought this precut twice. Never could get it to line up right. Seems like the template is off, pretty unhappy.If the template is right, then the instructions are just useless.
