My dogs loved this ball for 10 minutes, rolling it around the floor. I thought it was going to become a favourite toy. Unfortunately my Labrador then started to bite it with his back teeth and the plastic came away like grated cheese, leaving sharp edges. Taken off him immediately and now in the bin.

Great toy that our dogs love. The noise comes from a noise maker that sounds as it's rolled. It is larger at 5-1/2" diameter and made of a rather hard plastic. It's durable but it's certainly not a ball to throw for them to catch. Rolling is fine. It's hard enough that tossing it at their face could result in a couple of missing teeth. Letting them roll it has been no issues for safety.

I read on a few sites that this was a great interactive dog toy. My dogs were curious for a day or two but they don't go out of their way to play with it and one of my dog's is only 2 so very active still. They perk their ears up when I attempt to engage play. It appears well made, string material. I'll continue to work with my 2 year old GSD with this toy. It's got a funny sound which we all giggled over and I believe that is suppose to be part of the allure. He hasn't destroyed it yet so that is also a plus.

My dog said 4 out of five. I followed the directions to a T. Dog not loving it due to “squeaky tennis ball addiction”. The sound isn’t really a giggle, more like an alien. I keep trying. She likes it for a second and then back to her addiction… hopefully you’ll have better luck! Not bashing the product. Just not my dog’s favorite
