Good price great colors
Easy to install. The colors are so beautiful. I haven't quite mastered the controls but it works just great. I am very happy with this product. Note: We had to order directly through China Distributor because the cord was not long enough so I returned the first one. The item arrived on time and intact. I paid just a little more for the 15 foot cord but it was necessary. It comes with a 7ft cord.

Have to see how them hold up to salt, but so far very happy with them.
Bought two of these to replace a couple Pentair AquaLumin III lights. We bought the Pentairs when we had our liner replaced about 12 years ago. We then switched to a salt system about 6 years ago, not realizing that the Pentair AquaLumin III lights were not salt water rated. They actually held up pretty well. The screws and the plastic bezels were the only things that went bad.To power these lights, I bought Hayward transformers (LRBUY11P65), which were a near perfect fit on the brass base of the niche lighting junction boxes we had installed with the pool about 20 years ago. All I had to do was drill out the bolt holes a little in the cover and they fit perfectly. I went with these lights because they were salt water rated, were about one third the cost of the Pentair lights, and I really liked not having a full 120v device in the pool. These fit onto the Pentair bases so the install was really easy, thought they just barely hooked onto the bar at the bottom. We've had them in the pool for about a month and they work pretty well. They aren't quite as bright as the the old halogen Pentair lights, but that is actually nice, as the old halogen lights were a little bright anyway. The color changing features are a nice addition, and so far we really like them. By the time I add in the transformers, they were only about half the cost of the Pentairs, but the quality is about the same (very good), and so far we are really happy with them. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is because of the remotes. You can put them on any setting by just flipping the power switch a few times to cycle through the 20 or so optional color changing options, or fixed colors, so the fact that the remotes don't work (at all), isn't a huge problem. (We would probably loose them after one season anyway). I was pretty skeptical about the remotes working before I bought them anyway. Getting an RF signal to penetrate water is pretty hard unless to drop down to some pretty low ranges. I don't know what RF frequency the remotes use, but they need to be much lower. I suspect to pass FCC, they are using 800Mhz, since it's open, but that is not low enough to pass through water. I was hoping they might have a signal processor inline that would go in the junction box. That would work much better, but again, the fact that the remotes don't work isn't a huge problem. At the end of the day, they were half the cost of the Pentair units, and if you only just turn them on, they work as well as the old lights, and their are no bulbs to change. All you have to do is flip the light switch a few times and you can get to the color changing mode or fixed color pretty quick. I would recommend them to anyone, even if you are just planning to use them in in white light mode, due to the power savings and reduced voltage in the pool. We'll see how they look next year after a year in the salt.
