I saw so many videos about spider gel, so I was super excited to try this. The gel was looser than I expected. I had to be very specific about where I wanted to place it. Ot wasn’t super sticky so placing on the mail was a bit of a learning curve. Overall, I would say it was not as easy to use as it seems, but the overall outcome is so worth it. I’ve only use the silver one so far. I can’t wait to use the other colors. I would definitely recommend this product. I would just advise a little practice first.

This was my first time using spider gel. This was super easy to use and adapt to and did exactly what I was hoping for. The colors are great. I'll be using these a LOT.The only negative is they are tough to open without making a mess. They're sealed with foil which makes complete sense and is a good thing, however, there isn't a little tab to help with peeling that foil off like you're used to seeing on things sealed similarly (i.e. toothpaste, medication, hair products). Because of this, you either have to stab into the center to create a hole (which is a bad idea! you'll end up COVERED in spider gel, spoken from experience) or you can very carefully, very tediously, use something like an exacto knife to try and pry it up from the edges. Would have been much easier to just pull a tab.

The product itself is a little tricky to work with and can blur together so if you’re doing a multi layer look, I suggest curing in between for a more crisp look. I’d also be aware of the gel polish product when using as it can be get everything and stick to about anything so be be wary of the gel stream.The silver and gold are very sheer. Above in the picture I have them by themselves on an artificial nail (gold top, silver bottom under the whit me & black) and also on a white or black background (bottom of nail). This silver shows more on darker colors whereas the gold shows up more on lighter colors. If you’re purchasing more for the gold & silver - it’s not worth it. If it’s more the black & white, then I’d say it’s worth it!
