I bought this for my four year old son and it arrived this morning. He was ecstatic. It looks so realistic, has great detailing and bendable legs. The informational card it came with was very educational and my son absolutely loved having it read to him, over and over and over! Toy-wise: It's fun, super detailed, well put together, priced well and looks like it will last years. Educational-wise: My son now wants me to order him more Giant Microbes toys so he can have us read all about each one to him.As far as delivery speed goes... Exceptionally quick. This thing looks big, but it is quite small especially for the price. It fell apart immmediately.

Excellent customer service and product! Product is as described and informational tag is fun. I bought the mosquito as a gift, but the product arrived in a shredded bag without the informational tag. I needed the informational tag indicating the mosquito' species and species facts as part of the gift. I wrote the company to please send me the informational paper insert. They shipped me a whole new mosquito with informational tag immediately and it still arrived in time to give the gift. I will be purchasing more gifts from them for my friends who love science!

Wow! What a false advertisement! This is the size of the palm of ladies hand! Would not recommend.

Okay, I like this and hate it. Like that it looks like a mosquito (work related research) but hate how creepy it looks. But this does have more character than most microbes/parasites so it's recommended if you are looking for a mosquito stuffed bug.

I was teaching a class on mosquitos and ticks to campers and I decided to purchase a few giant microbes so campers could see first hand what they looked like. The kids really enjoyed seeing it and I felt it was beneficial to have as a teacher. While I wish the information tag was a little stronger so some kids can not pull it off, I would definitely purchase again.

The Detroit and West Michigan Conferences of the United Methodist Church have selected "Imagine No Malaria" as their project for 2014, and United Methodist Churches in these two conferences are being encouraged to support this project financially. My duty is to train churches in my district by providing them with resources to use that will enable and encourage their congregations to support this project. Having an illustration of a "large" mosquito is better than a thousand words as I explain the danger they are to human lives and the importance of providing funds to purchase nets to protect men, women, and children all over the world.I was very excited to find this product, which can be used on a bulletin board or shown during a presentation and will be recommending it to churches that I will be training in my district.
