Good alternative to a permanent fence
Because of youngsters visiting, we had to put up a fence so that the pool was off-limits and yet temporary. This seems to fit the bill. We had to rent drill equipment to install the posts into our patio, which makes sense safety-wise (and for the safety of the little ones).There is a "gate" so that adults can access the area on the other side of the fence, but the way you open it is not only childproof, but adult proof...very difficult to open. On the one hand, this makes it difficult for children to open, but if an adult has to quickly open it, good luck! It would be easier to step onto a chair and jump over the fence before you could open it.

Useless
This fence is a pain to install and looks horrible once it is. Nothing like the picture. Sags between each post wobbly and doesn’t hold up. No instructions on how to put the “gate” in it and my 3yr old granddaughter knocked it down without any effort. Don’t waste your money.

Worked well to keep grandkids safe by pool
Fence is probably sturdy enough. It is 2 12' sections. We have it set to open in middle. The latch to join them is hard to open and close. While that can be a good thing, it is difficult. I made a PVC adapter to go over the 2 center poles to hold them together and it is fine for closing it. If we are leaving it for a longer time or worried about kids, can also attach the hook. The plastic sleeves the poles go into are brittle and if you want to pull them out, they break. Wanted to reposition a few holes and the that wasn't possible without buying new (very expensive) sleeves.

Missing items. Not the length advertised
Product was only 16 feet. Supposed to be 24 feet. Missing pieces. No gate hardware.

Great for small dogs
We purchased this because we have 2 very small dogs. It's tall enough to provide safety, but not to block the views of the beautiful surroundings. The installation was a breeze because the he's for the winter pool cover are the right spacing and diameter. The gate operation is super easy and we have peace of mind that our pups will be safe!
